A question we all know the answer to, but definitely worth asking
Biden: what would Trump have done if the Capitol riots had been led by Black Americans? | Joe Biden | The Guardian
“Let me ask you,” Biden said during an address to an NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People) dinner in Detroit. “What do you think he would have done on January 6 if Black Americans had stormed the Capitol?”

There was a collective gasp and murmur in the cavernous convention centre, where an estimated 5,000 guests had gathered. The president insisted: “No, I’m serious. What do you think? I can only imagine.”
An update to this weekend’s story. Iranian president and foreign minister both confirmed dead.
When I heard last night they couldn’t get to the crash site… I knew they had gotten to the crash site and he was killed…
Israel is “slipping into darkness”. I actually think it has been growing ‘dark’ for some time now, and it’s hard to see how it returns to the light.
I’m not convinced that Rudy hasn’t gone full Gargamel and has lost the capacity to not beclown himself.
The truth just got its pants on…

](x.com)Wildwood official backtracks and says the 80,000 person estimate during the Trump event was not how many people were at the rally, but rather the total number of people in the entire town on that day, including in bars, restaurants, and on the boardwalk.
Poor Rudy
He can’t help being a fool
Where is line between beclowning and being a clown?
And the comment about a “hard landing” avoids the mangled feeling one gets from the word “crash”
State controlled media carried the idea that getting to the helicopter was very difficult… for 16 hours?
Well deserved.
From the linked Politico article on orange guy testifying:
“All I can do is tell the truth,” Trump proclaimed.
That would be a first.
Gonna be pretty awkward sending weapons to a charged war criminal… or issuing UNSC veto protecting one
This is what happens when you define the folks that participated in J6 as “tourist”. Now every tourist, everywhere is assumed to be a Trump supporter.
And about damned time
That 80,000 - 100,000 number was always bogus hype. What got me, though, was that many news outlets simply repeated it uncritically.
I don’t disagree and I find it interesting because they have charged both sides. Now we’ll see what the follow-through is.
MM’s David:
But the charger situation has muted even my enthusiasm for EVs. Not enough to dissuade people from making the plunge, but when people ask how I like my EV, my response is always the same: “The car is great! But lemme tell you about the charging situation …”
I really wanted to get an EV when I bought a new car a year ago, but the charging infrastructure (and, frankly, the premium on cost for new EVs) led me to get another hybrid. I felt sadly vindicated when my brother, who owns a Mustang, had to drive way out of his way to find a working charger on a weekend afternoon.
Meanwhile, Elon has fired the employees in his charging division. Stupid, especially since Tesla appears to have established the standard.
I’m old enough to remember all the way back to about two days ago when Stepanik went to the accused war criminal’s country to back him strongly over our own non war criminal American president.
