Sen. Marco Rubio said that his own version of the DREAM Act, which he intended to introduce, is now on hold after President Obama announced that the U.S. would no longer deport young undocumented immigrants brought to the country by their parents in an interview with the Wall Street Journal. Rubio said that Obama’s executive action makes it hard to justify his own legislation, which would have a similar effect.
