Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) served a spankin’ new spin on the GOP’s fake election fraud narrative about the horrors of mail-in voting on Tuesday night.
Hey little marco- what are mailboxes then? If you have been to a mailbox recently you will notice it only accepts letters not boxes for this reason. Wake up Florida vote out this fool.
Rubio claimed that there was “danger involved” with ballot drop boxes.
Perhaps, but not bloody likely, Rubio can explain how drop boxes are any more dangerous than just going to your polling place.
This is just the Rethugliklans latest suggestion for targeting voting processes.
Rubio Translator: “Please bomb ballot drop boxes to help me win.”
How is anyone, anyone, anyone, voting for Rethuglicans anymore?
Because the GQP will make sure that the ‘other’ doesn’t get something that only the GQP voters deserve.
That’s why.
Doesn’t matter of the GQP voters lose it too - just so the undeserving (in their minds) don’t get it too.
Marco should have a sit down with the PO boss DeJoy who could straighten him out… maybe.
And then check his own mail for burn marks
Can the wingnuts cite to a SINGLE CASE IN HISTORY of a ballot box or ballot dropoff container being blown up? Or (before Rubio opened his piehole) even being threatened with a bomb?
Mario is suggesting activities for the fringy fringe. Too cowardly to act, he happily puts the concept out for others to implement.
There are a lot of violent possibilities that we can imagine but would never want to happen. And so, we do not talk about them.
When you have no good arguments you are left with making ones as bad as these.
Translated: Votes are dangerous to little Marco’s relevance.

My drop box had a metal flap, the width of the box, that opened 4 inches or so, plenty of room for a small bomb I suppose.
But, it’s also at the front door of my town hall so I just assume there’s video surveillance. More smoke and BS from Li’l Marco.
It would indeed require some imagination to picture that particular scenario since it’s not a thing that happens.
Not now. But I think that what Rubio was doing is more properly called incitement.
I’m sure the drop boxes can and should be adjusted to accepts only ballots.
Did anyone bother to point out to Rubio that states like mine (WA) vote by mail with optional drop boxes everywhere? I drop my mail-in ballots at the local courthouse drop box, in walking distance from my house. It’s never been a problem, and bombing ballot boxes to affect an election would be a really stupid strategy anyway. There are cameras aimed at every drop box in my area.
Of course Rubio isn’t interested in details and just latched onto the latest RWNJ talking point. He’s not just a Republican asshole, he’s a lazy one.
