Iranian President Hassan Rouhani warned that Iran’s missile strikes Thursday night could just be the beginning of its retaliation against the U.S. “if America wants to commit another crime.”
Sounding like the world dodged a bullet as Iran is thinking clearly and doesn’t want to be dragged into a major war and is just biding its time for the idiot in office to go away.
Rouhani said during a cabinet meeting that “if America commits a crime, no matter how much she threatens us, she must know that we will act decisively as we have already shown.”
So now blowing up a couple outhouses constitutes acting decisively.
IMO they can call it whatever they want, they are the ones not trying to start a major war.
Can everyone please put their dicks back in their pants and walk away?
We may just escape from this without an all-out war, because someone was smart and capable enough to convince Donnie how bad that would be for him (the only thing that counts in his excuse for a mind), but not unless everyone shuts the f up. And keep Donnie away from Hannity, Rudy, Pompeo, and Pence.
“If they [the U.S.] find that they have a problem anywhere in the world, do not say it was ordered by Iran,” Rouhani said, according to CNN. “If tomorrow something in another country happens, Americans would say this is the action of proxy forces of Iran. We do not have any proxy forces.”
I hope the phone lines are open (from responsible persons of substance in Europe and the Americas) to the Iranians so that the predictable blustering Trump response** can be adequately interpreted.

Rouhani then clarified his comment by saying that “from now on if America wants to commit another crime, must know that they will receive a stronger reaction,” according to CNN
Exactly. Trump chose the wrong target if he didn’t want blowback from Iranian-allied non-state forces. Of course, the blowback will affect US allies and global interests in a way that fat Florida golfers can ignore. Meanwhile the US loses another round to Russia in terms of global influence and strategic partnerships. Funny how that keeps happening!

Enough already! Everyone is positioning themselves. Iran’s citizens feel better about the missile strikes (they probably don’t know they were aimed at the dirt) and Trump’s properties are safe to stay in again! Can we move on already. There is an impeachment going on!
Though Rouhani’s reply is similar to the IRGC, this is the statement from them.

Trump’s bluster and bullying have isolated him. When our (former) allies and adversaries are the only measured and mature adults on the world stage, it’s pretty clear that Trump is out of control.
Well yeah, that is why Trump is deescalating. Can you imagine any property with his name on it and Iran is looking to harm those properties? Trump needs this to wind down fast.
Obligatory saber-rattling on both sides duly noted, the ledes are once again dropped by the majority of the American media.
Lede 1: the only reason we are here is because of what Trump did to the treaty with Iran - we are the ones who broke our word and acted in bad faith, not Iran.
Lede 2: the entire story about “saving us from an imminent attack” is totally unbelieveable on every level.
Lede 3: Trump calling on all of the other co-signees to the treaty to back him up in doing super sanctions against Iran is ludicrous. PLease, let’s try to remember that he not only broke America’s promise with Iran, he broke America’s promise with every other country that agreed to the terms of the deal.
At this point, the only thing left in the White House is smoking guns and squirrels.
