the senator pinned the blame on an unnamed House intern, who he claimed somehow obtained a packet of information on the fake electors and dropped it off at the senator’s office.
In case anyone is unaware just how loony this is, by statute, each state’s electors are required to mail four copies of their collective statement of votes directly to the president of the senate, the national archives, their secretary of state, and the chief judge of the federal district court containing their state capitol, all by registered mail. At no point does any “House intern” get possession, nor does any Moscowphilic senator.
Just how the fuck did Moscow Ronjon get copies of any state’s electoral vote statements?

What are the odds that Ron Johnson would repeat that House intern story to a federal grand jury? Well the odds in my opinion are that Garland is not going to put Johnson in front of a grand jury probing if there was a conspiracy to defraud the US government with fake elector certificates. If there were to be such a grand jury.
