Mitt Romney’s campaign officially announced Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) is Romney’s choice of runningmate via smartphone app at around 7:00 AM Saturday morning. The app had been posted late last month specifically to make the VP announcement, but Ryan’s name appeared in the press late Friday night.
