That’s preposterous. Assange wouldn’t give him a second if he didn’t think Trump was behind him. Assange may be an Australian but he knows how American corruption works. If Rohrabacher wasn’t carrying a message direct from Trump Assange would tell him to fuck off.

I don’t believe Rohrabacher, and I don’t believe Assange. I don’t know under what constraints Assange’s lawyer might be to tell the truth. But I sure as hell do believe that Trump would offer a quiet little deal to further his case that it wasn’t the Russians. He’s at some pains to try to put that one over. And this kind of clumsy, reckless deal-making to paper over his crimes is just his style.
