On Friday, Stone said in a court filing that the clip has “no relevance to Stone’s statements.”

Prima facie nonsense.

Stone has claimed that he referenced Pentangeli because Credico does a good impression of him.

Am I a bad person for thinking that Roger Stone going to prison almost makes the last three years of this sh*thole presidency worth it?

Roger Stone is a sick and twisted corrupt goon.

I honestly can’t get over how fundamentally childish and unserious this 66-year-old is.

Epstein’s suicide reminded me of the conversation between Pentangeli and Tom Hagen in prison, in which they discussed how, in ancient Rome, a guy could save the honor of his family by committing suicide.

And Roger Stone and Randy Credico are no Frankie Five Angels. Pentangeli had a soul.

I’m thinking more of a hit like one of Putin’s ordered assassinations.

Surprised Credico hasn’t woken up yet with his emotional-support dog’s head in his bed.

How lazy and unoriginal -stupid, even- do you have to be to reference The Godfather when discussing criminal conspiracy?

Much as I want to see Stone go down, I think playing the clip to the jury would be prejudicial. I predict the judge permits a transcript of the movie dialogue (including the Tom Hagen/Pentageli prison yard conversation), but no video. The video is just too powerful.

You and 50 million others, but what inducement did Epstein have to go along with this? He didn’t have any family needing help.

Nope

Stone has travel restrictions. The judge would have to approve it (she might, it’s Credico).

Absolutely love every scene with Pantangelia. That old man had too much wine.

Ditto Hyman Roth. Both just terrific actors.
