Steven COLBERT said he could not watch it. He said he knows he ‘betrayed’ his duty but he JUST COULD NOT DO IT.
I turned on the tube and I JUST COULD NOT DO IT either.
They said the DNC was ‘doom and gloom’ but this is like a trip to the UNDERWORLD.
Anyway, do you think during Trump’s speech tomorrow night that he’ll pardon the Rittenhouse person because now TUCKER CARLSON is taking up his cause?

Hero-creep alert. The Greek hero was typically conflicted and had issues. Heroes were very rare, often sacrificing themselves to a higher cause. It was a very elite group, maybe a couple dozen in ancient Greek history. Mythological models often had superhuman features or flaws. Hercules, for example, had killed his three kids, which was rather upsetting for his wife Megara. Although he atoned to King Eurystheus for his behavior by completing the 12 impossible tasks, his wife eventually took revenge and killed him anyway. He wasn’t enough of a hero in her eyes, but more important, his death emphasized that being a hero is a zero-sum game. Fast forward to 21st century America, where heroes are everywhere! After 9-11, pretty much anybody in a uniform became a hero. Tonight, we learned from Mike Pence that just being white, Christian and packing a firearm makes you a hero.

It’s really not. He’s a ridiculous toady, the kind only an insane person would take seriously, and he’s been that way every day for the last four years. It’s like if it rained really hard everywhere and every day for all that time. You’d run out of ways to say that it was raining really hard, and there wouldn’t be much point in trying to outdo yourself remarking on that again today. It’s just not news. He’s a character from a Joseph Heller novel, not a real human being.

Rittenhouse is doomed.
If he gets sent to prison, he’s a dead mean. And if he somehow gets found “Not Guilty” or gets pardoned, I doubt if he will last a week. It ain’t gonna be like when George Zimmerman got away with murder.
And although I try to be a good person, the idea of a violent end to Kyle Rittenhouse is…well, best to use words that express it far better than I could:

Holtz was also a climate change expert on Hannity once, as the two discussed that climate change could not be a thing because there was snow in springtime.
