Republicans have started to weaponize science — after spending months denying it — in a bid to justify harassing people who wear masks outdoors just as the Centers Disease Control and Prevention on Tuesday relaxed some of its outdoor masking guidelines for fully vaccinated people.
‘Would you please take off your mask? Science shows there is no reason for you to be wearing it, your mask is making me uncomfortable.’
To which the proper response is, “Go fuck yourself, moron!”
I am fully vaccinated but I continue to wear a mask outside my apartment, including outdoors, for multiple reasons, not least that I live in Hudson County NJ, an extremely high risk area right across the Hudson from Manhattan. Now I have another reason–I hope it makes Tucker Carlson and his fellow Trumpist fascists very uncomfortable.
Tucker Carlson:
“The next time you see someone in a mask on the sidewalk on a bike path, ask politely but firmly, ‘Would you please take off your mask? Science shows there is no reason for you to be wearing it’”

The kids that I’m familiar with seem to have no problem at all wearing masks. They really like having masks bearing super-hero images.
Not sure where the kids would learn not to wear masks, unless they watch Fox News, which IS child abuse.
