When Danco’s lawyer pushed back, saying that the language reflected the unprecedented nature of the case, Elrod took an incredulous tone: “So you think it’s appropriate to attack the district court personally in the case in that way.” Ho soon jumped in to continue the beratement.
That a judge should considerate it appropriate to address a lawyer in such supercilious tones speaks to the imperial judiciary that our right wing brethren have foisted upon us.

When the judge is going church lady on your ass, you’re not having a good day in court. But I hope he finds a way to cite the church lady remarks in the appeal to the next level.
