Remember Rick Gates?

The Trump campaign factotum and longtime GOP political consultant buddy of Paul Manafort’s is back, and he’s flipped.

It’s stupid for him to do this, but I’m not shocked that he’s bending the knee to Trump.

I’m shocked that he’s stupid enough to think it will work.

Trump doesn’t pardon losers.

It depends on what Gates has to offer.

Ukraine was his backyard.

Of course he has to do this if he ever wants to work again. Serving both his Russian-Ukrainian patrons and Donald Trump at the same time is just smart business.

Looks like Gates knows some things will come to light in the Biden Administration which will call for a preemptive Trump pardon (before Jan 2021).

It also is telegraphing that Biden will win.

This doesn’t really sound like a winning strategy to me. In the IT world, it’s a bit like being a really crackerjack Flash programmer. Or, channeling an old Star Trek episode, he’s like one of the hooded servants of Landru.

I guess the whole gang from 2016 is gonna be coming out of the woodwork to offer up phony “evidence” against Hunter Biden in a pathetic pardon-fishing spree. Sad!

So then Donnie’s not going to “self” pardon?

Not a single ounce of shame. Screw the country…FLIP!!! Get time anyway because you broke the fkn law? FLIP! This wouldn’t surprise me in the least that it is someone from the campaign ‘promising’ something in return for shame facedly pretending you didn’t tell the ‘truth’ about Trump. They’ve already tried it with Omarosa to stop Trump from suing her…

I would say that it is extremely pathetic that Rick Gates has put and is putting the entirety of his soul up for sale, but he didn’t have anything to sell in the first place. Like Trump and his enablers, he is a totally hollow person, devoid of any decency or humanity.

The FSB really needs to up their game. If the best they can do is untraceable screenshots of emails, funneled through Giuliani and Bannon, and accompanied by a laughable provenance, they’re not going to get very far.

Trump is always a winner in his own mind. The facts and actual circumstances aren’t relevant.

Nobody else is going to hire him though.

I’m still a Mueller fan, but i’m beginning to understand the complaints.

If Gates hasn’t learned to go directly to Fox & Friends to get Trump’s ear, not MSNBC, he’s hopeless.

Don’t presume that it’s not amateurish in appearance by design.

Any and all communications that go international (and as we know from Snowden times, plenty of purely US-based stuff as well) get vacuumed up by the NSA and go to that big data storage place out in I think Utah.

So the NSA would know immediately the provenance of any actual e-mails and be able to establish authenticity.

Making it an amateur show lacking metadata and the like can be an op meant to just make the noise without attracting too much attention.

The catch is that the NSA wouldn’t tell anybody what they know, one way or the other. Not exactly a chatty bunch.

No, but they’d know and be able to trace back a really professional job.

Keeping it a hack job may just be enough to make it not worth the effort for them to work on, as the suspicion that it’s purely domestic could keep it off their radar.

If this is supposed to be the october ukraine surprise, he’s doing it wrong. Couching the surprise in terms of receiving a pardon totally discredits him. Though given the identity of the pardoner, I can see why he’d want the pardon before the election. After the election his october surprise is worthless, even if it helped the orange one win.
