Hello it’s the weekend. This is The Weekender
In the 12 hours since a video depicting Barack and Michelle Obama as apes was posted on President Trump’s Truth Social account, the White House’s story has swung wildly. Around 9 a.m. ET Friday, from Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt: “This is from an internet meme video…
By my count, it’s been about 3 Republicans.
This is “rousing”?
It’s probably still enough to send Stephen Miller and JD Vance’s internet chat groups into a conniption about “race traitors”.
I woke up at 4 and decided to make some coffee and catch some live Olympics coverage. It was some downhill skiing event. It was on hold because of snow, which I guess is unexpected at Winter Olympics now. But it was a pretty snow.
Not to worry didn’t even happen
Not to worry—Trump did not post a racist video about the Obamas - American Thinker
See the president is just stupid
As I can attest from my slow learning curve in making video-podcasts, failing to clip the end of a screen recording is a classic amateur mistake. That means it’s entirely possible that the person who recorded the serious election fraud video, like Trump himself, had turned his attention away in the last few seconds, because the real point was in the main body of the video. You didn’t need to watch it to the end to get the gist of it.
But of course, in politics, optics are everything, and Trump, clearly inadvertently, gave leftists the optics they needed. We know this because, when Democrats took the matter to the media and social media, they didn’t use the entire video. They couldn’t because it would have reminded voters that they were almost certainly the victims of a fraudulent election in 2020.
Around 9 a.m. ET Friday, from Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt: “This is from an internet meme video depicting President Trump as the King of the Jungle and Democrats as characters from the Lion King. Please stop the fake outrage and report on something today that actually matters to the American public.”
Truly, that our chief executive is a bigot whose prejudice makes him incapable of looking out for the interests of many of his constituents is cause for fake outrage is a novel perspective, to say the least.
Racists stick together
thats all you need to read….i’ve seen similar videos before..a nephew in ARIZONA posted something similar in the first TRUMPF campaign..sent it to all family members…his feelings were hurt when we rejected it and soon, him….he became more rabid as time went on.

Ted Cruz doesn’t want to be part of the party that gets kicked in the teeth. (ed.)
It’s a restrained soto voce trio sort of rousing.
Is this another shiny thing to distract from the Epstein scandal? Donny the dancing dotard is happy to admit to his hatred of POC if it distracts from his horrific abuses of young boys and girls and puppies. All of which reveals an imminse sickness within him. We’re a quarter of the way through Fefruary already. Is he dead yet?
He can’t apologize. It would show imperfection in his self-glorifying self. Gonna have to do something even worse to make people forget.
I though Tarzan was King of the Jungle (an imprecise term by the way).
I don’t think so, it’s who he is.
Has God sent a plague of bigoted and presumptuous subordinates to afflict the GQP?

For lions, I’m gonna guess ‘King of the Savanna’ just doesn’t have that impactful punch to it.

American Thinker is obviously an oxymoron of the highest order
Even if it were true, it just shows the caliber of people Trump turns to for his daily affirmations.
