Republican Senators Complain About ‘Raucous’ House Colleagues Threatening Shutdown

A handful of Senate Republicans on Capitol Hill Wednesday made it clear that they think their colleagues on the other side of the building would ultimately be the ones responsible for any potential government shutdown.

As I’ve recently said on another forum, I’m a vegetarian so cannibalism should repel me. But it’s too much fun watching these guys eat their own.

Weak sauce from those republican senators, but at least they’re not cheering on the toddlers.

These morons have thrown the pin and are holding the hand grenade. Damaging the economy will help them get TMFWWNBN elected instead of Biden, so its collateral damage they are willing to take.

And when it happens, these same feckless clowns will blame it all on Biden and the socialist overspending Demoncrats.

It is a pleasing sight, but not really like cannibalism, more like coprophagy.

I cannot say it with 100% confidence, but there are signs that the MAGAt fever is starting to break. It’s going to get ugly in the former Repub party ranks.

It will get worse before it gets better. Not being able to fly anywhere because air traffic controllers – who have families and mortgages – have bills to pay like everyone else. Let’s see how things go after a week or two (not FIVE like TFG’s 2019 shutdown) when there are major ground stops at ALL major airports.

No. In the interest of efficiency, a phased shutdown. First, all TSA facilities in Congressional Districts of the Freedom Caucus. Next, all TSA and military facilities, (including the CG) in Alabama.

Phase the closures in.

Does it physically hurt to be as stupid as members of the freedumb caucus are?

Deep thoughts by Jack Handy…

Oh those republicans…such deep thinkers that state the obvious as if they only now figured it out…

Yes the extremists are responsible…it’s performative bullshit. It serves no purpose other than camera face time.
In other news…

trump ought to be rather nervous. E. Jean Carroll has him by the short n curlies in that civil defamation trial. All the trial will be about now is what it’ll cost trump. So he lost the first of his seven coming trials. Six to go.

What a crock! As usual, most of our elected Congress people don’t have the balls to tell the MAGotts in the House to go fuck themselves. If McCarthy had a set, he would tell the so-called “Freedom Caucus” that that they could pound sand and that he would pass the appropriation bills with Democrat votes. If the MTG’s of the world want to play Russian roulette with a fully loaded gun, fuck 'em! Sadly however, since McCarthy is a eunch for Trump, we will once again lose as a country. I think it’s time we considered changing our entire system to a Nordic model democratic socialist republic with major decisions voted on quarterly by the citizens via on-line balloting. Then we could only have ourselves to blame for bad decisions.

“The House is a raucous place and some people like government shutdowns, so we’ll see.” What a mealy mouth buncha crap. Jebus these people.

It’s a pretty dubious proposition to expect Amurkins to blame themselves for bad decisions. Exhibit #1: Donald Trump, 45th President of the United States.

Exhibit #2: The National Average BMI

Good luck washing the damned MAGA spot off your hands, Senate Republicans! No one is going to remember you once tried to sound reasonable when everyone else on your side of the ballot is a clown or a convict!
