Attorney General Bill Barr reportedly may be looking at an expulsion after he publicly admitted on Wednesday that the Justice Department had not found evidence of the mass voter fraud President Donald Trump falsely claims had swayed the election.

I’m predicting this in order to tempt Fate to prove me wrong:

Donald will not fire Barr; he knows that Fat Bill is the last bulwark standing between Donnie and Indictments For Everyone. He’s leaking this to try to pressure Barr to comply with falsely questioning election results–e.g., blackmailing him.

#MOB stuff.

But, hey, I’d be happy to be wrong

Barr fired for showing too much integrity…

Should this have been before or after the “Culled mink rise from the dead in Denmark” in the 2020 news bingo card?

I’m sure he wouldn’t be an orange coward and do it by tweet, it’ll definitely be in person. Great leader and all.

Yes! Please!! That would be the best Christmas present ever.

Barr is a smart guy who clearly does not want to go down with the sinking ship. Nevertheless, he’s still the most despicable AG ever so I doubt he’s doing this out of any moral obligation.

Don’t give the two of them any oxygen. They both deserve each other as both are corrupt and have behaved in a criminal manner as far as I’m concerned. The headline should be:

Trump continues to Oversee the Deaths of US Citizens: Not Worried He’s Responsible for 160,000+ Losses - Claims only losers die

Seriously, things are getting worse, not better, and his nonsense continues? He hasn’t even tried to do anything but make up lies. And people continue to die and the rate will only accelerate. It is a crime against US citizens. Not that covid-19 is here, but the total lack of any serious effort to combat it in any basic way under his leadership.

So please excuse me if I don’t give a damn about his made-up voter fraud story. Or whether Barr is on the outs.

Trump is really pissed. The Justice Department issued a half-assed PR statement that said they would continue to investigate fraud if they tripped over it.

Trump’s problem is that he needs Barr to help issue all the pardons he wants for himself, his kids and a few chosen cronies who could hurt him. (Trump has no friends and doesn’t give a shit about anyone.)

If it is a question of fuming impotently over Barr’s attempt to save his own law license, or risking a greater chance of personal time in the slam, what do you think Trump will choose?

My Dad said that to me more than once in some of my well deserved moments.

Trump’s downward spiral still has a long way to go. I genuinely fear people are going to die (and not from Covid). Rioting in the streets, chaos and death are likely future steps. Trump would welcome those I’m sure.
What a man made disaster.

Trump Mulls Firing Barr

See, president id-rage wants to fire someone, and the other guy whose name he can remember already quit earlier this week.

I’m guessing Barr is hoping to get fired. He hopes it will make his reputation in history better, as someone who wasn’t totally in the can for Trump.
Barr doesn’t give a shit about Trump; in fact, I suspect Barr loathes him. And Barr’s work is done: he kept Trump in office long enough to get Wife Barrett on the Supreme Court and a lot of judges and to do a lot of damage to the government and constitution. Now that Trump has lost the election there’s not much more for Barr to do. Moscow Mitch will carry the load from now on.
So Barr gets to go out on a high note of telling the truth and getting fired for it.
So, I hope Trump doesn’t fire him. Best would be if Barr goes out on January 20 or resigns.

After Barr’s statement can anyone imagine even one of Trump’s 74 million voters thinking to themselves, “jeez, maybe this is all bullshit”?

Barr has 48 days left no matter what Trump does. The American people gave him his notice a month ago.

Maybe Trump’s just used to his producers pushing him to make a dramatic, high-profile sacking every week to keep the ratings up?
