I hear you. Oh, boy, do I hear you.

But the circularity you’re alluding to is built into the Constitution and into the structure of the Justice Department.

Sometimes the circularity is breached slightly – it takes a good president who values the independence of the DOJ. For example, Obama and Holder: they weren’t perfect but they were good; they valued justice for its own sake.

In the '60s and '70s Nixon ran two “law and order” campaigns but everyone knew what he really meant. Anyone could have seen that, from his entry into politics in the '40s, he had always pretended to love justice: instead he believed in power alone. That’s what he had always used to punish his opponents for existing. In his DOJ there were a few brave and independent souls – Elliot Richardson, Archie Cox, Leon Jaworski, and Bill Ruckelshaus are the most obvious examples – but Nixon and his lieutenants, including Robert Bork, won the day – and it took Congress, and the courts to turn things around.

As for Trump, anyone could have seen that he hates justice – because of the threat it has always posed to him personally. And yet he was elected; and his DOJ is safely in the hands of a traitor – and Congress is partly unwilling and partly unable to do anything about it.

In school our kids are taught about “checks and balances” but the bald truth is that our system is flawed and we are too dependent on the kindness of its proprietors.

Which is the point you made:

Read this… we all just might, as stated in article the 100K deaths is the middle of the projection actually could be triple. A 9/11 attack each and every day.

It can be done.

My kids after divorce moved to my place because as one stated, “she treats us as she did you”. The judge refused to change custody, additionally stated that I must continue to pay her support or I’d find myself in jail. Took 2 years to get things somewhat changed and they changed only because I notified the court I was suing for prejudicial treatment as well as incompetence. Within a week the court ruled. I won, somewhat. Before I was told pay or jail, she was told $25 per month for support of our 3 kids and it would be understandable if she did not pay.

Dan White would have been a MAGA freak on steroids if he hadn’t blown his brains out. Sometimes things work out for the best.

These are all deaths that would have happened anyway, with or without the virus, which is chinese and was spread by the WHO with Bill Gates’ money.

The real American virus was beautiful, did not cause any deaths and there was a miracle on easter because of conservative cures like hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin, colloidal silver, stimulus checks and before I forget, disinfectant and heat.

Trump on his taxes “There’s NO way I owe that much! Change it!”

Trump on Covid deaths: “There’s NO way the number is that high…”

I never wanted to use that term, and prefer MAGAt. But, yes, deplorable fits when people allow their cult-like behaviors and their belief in one sociopath / false prophet and their blind hatred for Democrats overrule facts, common sense, and any empathy for their fellow humans.

I saw it once. It made me think of daffodils.

you are spot on with the depiction of his response to results that he dislikes.

it parallels the pattern of behavior that he frequently employed when he did not like the price for a service that he received … even if it was a very very reasonable price consistent with the market rate.
He would just blowup & rage … not because he had really analyzed it - but just because he baselessly “knew in his gut” … and he would just refuse to honor the contract - “because” … just because he “felt” it should be different .

Ah yes, and here it comes. Severe gaslighting now extended to questioning the death toll. We’re not surprised I’m sure but on this we can’t let him get away with it like Ron DeSatanic (!) is already doing in FL with supression of all death data.

Just watch. Trumpy will order red states, on the sly, to withhold all death data until and unless his Department of Lies and Depravity clear it.
