Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT), the only Republican to convict ex-President Donald Trump twice in the impeachment trials, doesn’t seem to have the luxury of being Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT) in public — at least not when there’s a chance he could be spotted by Trump’s supporters.
Not sure which sarcastic response to choose, so here’s both:
I think he needs a balaclava.

I nominate Romney for the “Profiles in Cowardice” award for 2022, but he has strong competition.
Oh, Mittens wears a lot of different hats alright. Perhaps a more appropriate choice of headgear would be a windsock.
I sometimes feel sorry for Senator Romney, who did vote to convict Trump at both impeachment trials. But then I remember how much else he could do for his country - support voting rights, for example. And I say “nah, eff that guy.”
He may be the least worst of the bunch, but yep, they all built that. Every last one of them.
