The deafening silence of Russia’s opposition to the constant degradation of the Russian economy is telling. For all of Putin’s strutting and bluster, the facts suggest that long-term growth of the Russian economy, which was already pretty crappy, has been damaged for years, possibly a generation. Not a peep. Still waters run deep.
I half expect that they will be “unable to identify the suspect”…

Nearly all of the critics of Cannon’s initial order in the Mar-a-Lago Special Master request think she blew it as to the law, and the DOJ appeal offers her the chance to clean up her mess. I think she stands pat. At some point in the future a GOPer will again hold the Presidency, and she’s auditioning for SCOTUS, so holding the line against Deep State Democratic DOJ (however futile it proves to be) will be a feather in her cap down the road.
