And he won’t until after the primary as is perfectly normal and wise.

He needs to be cautious, because no matter the outcome of the primaries, there will be some serious bridge building to be done. We will need all that Obama has to pull us together.

“He feels that he’s singularly positioned to help unify the party at the end of this,” the source said. “And if he were try to put his thumb on the scale now, it would take away his ability to do so when it’s most needed–the general election.”

Clean.

Articulate and bright and clean, one might even say.

It makes sense.
It makes sense that he said it.
It makes sense to take him as a person with responsibilities.
It makes sense to surmise that the announcement will be spun X different ways.
It makes sense that Barack has put us on “hold”, here at TPM.

Absolutely right

But it would be far more presidential for him to throw out a few Twitter posts disparaging all the candidates he doesn’t like, or calling Bernie a hoax.

Now THAT’S Presidential behavior, a stark contrast to the ‘current occupant.’

After Trump, the public will have to be “re-educated”. IMHO it will not be as long or difficult.

This comes from an educator who knows the value of motivated individuals.

We are stuck in a particularly viscous treacle tart, aren’t we?

As it should be.

So, Biden experiences a resurgence, takes the nomination, and Bernie’s troops go all “Susan Sarandon” on the campaign, burning down the party.
