This is yesterday’s news, but okay.

ETA: the “I love it” part, anyway.

OT, But what about Jussie?

You know the Guy trying to blame his lies on Blacks and Homophobia.

Can’t wait to find out who this mystery member of Congress is: “a Nov. 6 message from an unnamed member of Congress who texted Meadows about appointing alternate slates of electors in certain states.” Place your bets, TPM readers

there are “many people every week coming in to testify and produce documents.” In some instances, “multiple people a day” appear before the committee, according to CNN.

Finally we have an identification on the “Many people” TFG referenced. In this case, the committee is telling us “many people” have told them things. Mystery solved. Any show up with tears in their eyes?

I must be missing something. I keep reading that Trump has not claimed executive privilege for the Meadows documents or, presumably, testimony. So, how is Meadows claiming executive privilege? This BS of saying well maybe Trump might be considering possibly thinking about exerting privilege doesn’t fly. He either exerts it or he doesn’t, but in any case it’s not up to Meadows. Or am I misunderstanding?

It’s Gym Jordan, who was awarded the Medal of Freedom by TFG on January 11th.

I’ll go with the prior guess of another TPM commenter, Scott Perry (PA-10).

He needs to testify, like yesterday.

Too late and it’s amazing, because this is a WH that was reportedly using whatsapp.

Nothing to see here, just more evidence of planned treason.

I’m confused. Why would Meadows voluntarily hand over his text messages and e-mails while simultaneously suing the Select Committee, Pelosi, and others and making noises about “executive privilege”? This doesn’t make much sense to me. It’s not as if his texts are devoid of compromising information.

The actions were not simultaneous, they were sequential over several weeks. Maybe he got some vigorous redirection over those several weeks. Or maybe he’s trying to play both sides and thread a path where he’s able to sell his book (done) and stay out of jail (tbd), and stay in TFG’s good graces (unlikely). I’m thinking over-eagerly giving up certain docs is kind of similar to when jeff sessions jumped at the opportunity to announce his recusal from all things russian, offered to him (baited?) by then-senator Franken.

Thank you. Whatever he’s doing, it doesn’t seem well thought out or strategic. And this dude was CoS…
