A lawyer who played a crucial role in the White House’s handling of President Trump’s Ukraine call told the National Security Council’s Ukraine expert not to discuss the call with others, according to a Politico report on the expert’s congressional testimony.
Really damming. Really, Really damming. Can’t wait for Vindman to testify publicly.
It is one thing to say “oh, we have put all Trump calls into the code word system” (assuming this is true, I expect it is not) given the earlier leaks, but to then say “and don’t tell anyone about this call” when it is YOUR JOB to talk about US-Ukrainian relations, is something that even some Trumpsters will understand says that everyone knew the call was a major, major problem and not “the best call ever”
Yes, and that Trump now wants to read in a “fire side chat” I am all for it, having Trump saying “but we have a favor we want you do to, though” in his own voice will make great TV adverts.
He’s a Flynn appointee, which is enough right there. He was also involved in leaking intelligence documents to Nunes. And that law degree from Yale seems to have given him the awareness of guilt that Trump himself lacks most of the time. Did I mention he’s a Flynn appointee?
With the humongous volume of voice call monitoring automation must be being used. I’d bet money some intelligence agency is sitting on a recording. How could presidential communications not be recorded? Seems incredible that our everyday lives are being monitored to the extent they are, but a public servant (be he POTUS or not) is not monitored just as closely.
Congressional Republicans: “The route that the Soviet-style fire department cult led by sneaky Adam Schiff is taking to the White House is totally improper and unfair … and there is absolutely nothing wrong with the fire in the Oval Office.”
