I think the continued prosecution of the Mar-a-Lago file retrieval is doing just fine to point that out. The GQP has too many rebuttal points for J6, but they are coming up empty on TFGâs apparent treason.
The J6 Committee acts a bit like a disinfectant. I say âDisinfect!â If and when the J6 Committee offers a referral, it will be to ask for a stronger disinfectant. I say âDisinfect until completion!â
Really? I have yet to hear one that was even remotely credible. Considering the success of the hearings and how theyâve moved public opinion, I want more hearings. The GOP can keep denying reality, but so what? It only works with their voters, and those idiots arenât the majority. I also think itâs important that voters understand whatâs at stake in this election. Itâs not only womenâs body autonomy, itâs also democracy itself. Anything that helps drive that point home is crucial and beneficial to the good guys.
That squealing pig sound you hear is Lindsey Graham and Mitch McConnell protesting the violation of the 60 day rule. You know how they revere the unwritten protocols and old-fashioned courtesy.
Credibility isnât a known concept with these folks. They just know they can say or do anything they like about J6 and get away with it. And the media are only too happy to give their arguments air, which keeps these nincompoops in the news.
Itâs becoming increasingly clear that TFG has no defense for the documents heâs taken, credible or otherwise.
As much as the J6 event has to be prosecuted, and there are continued jail sentences handed out for the perpetrators, who may well be turning evidence against the organizers, the document theft is much more crucial and is having a significant impact on public opinion.
The GOP of old was heavily for national security. This idiot managed to ruin a bunch of national security issues, the extent of which is unknown. This is having far more damage to the party than J6.
I remember reading somewhere just after the last public hearing that they wanted to do another one after Congress came back from recess, and it was going to focus on cabinet members who discussed using the 25th Amendment on Trump. I hope itâs more than that. Itâs interesting, a reminder of how serious things got on J6, but just a sideline for the history books.
Yes! This would trigger Trump to go on a multi-day rampage on his dying social media site smearing fellow Republicans left and right. We need to get him to the tipping point where he instructs all MAGA followers âstronglyâ not to vote at all, because they are all RINOs anyway!
Other than far right media outlets, Iâve yet to see any mainstream media organization allow Republicans to lie about what happened that day. In fact, Iâve seen the media time and again revisit the events that happened that day only to highlight previously unaired footage or information.
Besides, we cannot, absolutely cannot, back down from something just because Republicans are gonna lie about it. So what? Itâs what they do. They arenât the majority. What matters is that the hearings have educated the public and have been an overwhelming success despite all their silly attempts to divert attention. If anything, the business with the stolen documents is made more serious by his attempts to overthrow the government. Both matter and both tell the same story of a massively corrupt president and the very real and ongoing damage his presidency has done. We shouldnât shy away from any of it.
