Not a dumb question at all, and in a related note, it interests me that the 1/6 Committee thought they had enough “probable cause” or whatever you want to call it to spend as much as they did to send a team to Copenhagen. I can’t imagine their budget is unlimited. Either they had a solid lead of some sort or they really despise Roger Stone. I’m thinking both.
