Report: Hutchinson Cooperated With The DOJ’s Jan. 6 Investigation

It’s appalling that Cassidy Hutchinson, an aide who as finally seen the light, will be attacked by those who cannot somehow entertain the concept that after all this time and evidence, they’ve been protecting a cheap, venal thug.

I remember when people yawned and scoffed that only one young woman was scheduled for that fateful J6 Hearing day.

And, as her testimony proceeded with the inside story of Trump’s BadMinistration, the nation began to accelerate its hopefulness…going from handwringing to fist-bumping.

Why isn’t Merrick Garland investigating Trump? Doesn’t he understand anything?

Mar-a-Lago is starting to smell worse than Doral does. And that’s pretty bad. In fact, the employees at the neighboring landfill complain when the wind shifts and brings Doral’s funk along with it.

And he’ll tell them he is starting his own party, and the dance will continue. But yeah, they can’t afford to have Dead Man Talking milk them dry forever.

Bad enough the RNC has already shelled out $2M

Since October 2021, the Republican National Committee has paid nearly $2 million to law firms representing Trump as part of his defense against personal litigation and government investigations.

But an RNC official told ABC News that as soon as Trump would announce he is running for president, the payments would stop because the party has a “neutrality policy” that prohibits it from taking sides in the presidential primary.

Probably is not all coming from the RNC, but I bet he has milked a lot more than 2 million from various parties for his “expenses”

From the Article:

[“Hutchinson also recalled Trump demanding that the Secret Service get rid of metal detectors at the ‘Stop the Steal’ rally on the Ellipse that preceded the Capitol insurrection. Hutchinson testified that Trump want his armed supporters to move closer to the stage in order to make the crowd appear larger.”]

“LAW?? Hain’t I got the POWER?” (a figure from the past…and another one from the present)

Her testimony sure was an eye-opener, but what really struck me was that running radio talk and blurry video of law enforcement/security that was identifying all the weaponry and gunmen up in trees… And I wonder why we haven’t heard or seen that chilling stuff on endless loop

  • Where the FUCK you think?

  • It ain’t my fault he did this!

  • Wasting all this time and money on ‘Merrick the Mild’ and ‘Merrick the Meek’ signs…

I love everything Luckovich puts out but lately this is my favorite. The pot belly, teeny-tiny fingers, and of course the message itself.

When that is all you have to hang your hat on, that happens.

Nobody’s getting immunity. The House committee has made that clear, barring extraordinary circumstances and prior agreement from DoJ. What some will be looking for is a plea deal, which only DoJ can offer. But… DoJ ain’t making deals until after indictments have dropped, and they ain’t indicting until they know every word of what’s in the transcripts of their supporting witnesses’ testimony to congress. The committee has said they’ll give over the transcripts sometime in september, though I imagine if DoJ were to ask for one specific witness’ transcript, they might accomodate that. Gonna be another sweaty august in DC.
