Gee, why don’t the Rethuglicans just give away the whole store? State secrets, anyone?

Fascists got to defend their fellow fascists!

This way they can relive the pre-instruction memories of getting private tours from their representatives.

This is a crime. McCarthy has damaged the cause of justice.

Because this is what is always done in capital offense cases. Didn’t Vincent Bugliosi provide all of the evidence to Charles Manson’s defense team for their exclusive review?

Time for minority rule to go the way of the buggy whip.

If a burglar broke into congressman Loudermilk’s house would his defense counsel be allowed to have the security video recording of it as evidence as well as anything else?

Yes, obviously.

I get that this is intended to own the libs and spark outrage but does it actually help any defendants? Seems to me that showing even more of their break-in wouldn’t benefit them

Maybe I’ve watched too many movies and TV shows but I thought it was prosecutorial abuse to not share State’s evidence with defense?

Well…Subtlety was never a strong point

Anything that was potentially exonerative was already disclosed to the defendants. The only benefit is that they get to try to whip up newer and dumber conspiracy theories, like particular people being antifa or FBI provocateurs.

That is all.

Eh. I think they’ve overplayed that one already. It’s stale and more likely to backfire

Also, MTG and associates’ alibis for 1/5.

Where is your DNA?

Yep, it’s a nothingburger as far as any help to the defense, but of course it’s going to be used to “ask questions” and suggest that they’re innocent by the usual suspects.

Republicans just might want to think twice about releasing that footage to Fucker C because what if an angry mob wants to come after…them???

I’m confused. What branch is declaring the rights for defendants and providing them with information? It’s got to be the executive right, in response to an order by the judicial? It couldn’t be the legislative. It is? What the f***? How is that possible? How is that legal? How is that ethical?
