Report: Ginni Thomas Regularly Gave Trump ‘Insane’ Lists Of People To Hire

Ginni Thomas, the wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, privately met with then-President Donald Trump multiple times while he was in office to personally offer whack advice on whom the loyalty-obsessed Trump should keep in his White House, the Daily Beast reports.

Emotionally Trump operates at the level of a 13 year old fangirl that has found herself sharing the airport waiting lounge with a dreamy K-Pop band.

Always curious how these dark lists get made. I assume there is a money trail.

JFC. I wouldn’t run a mom and pop store this way let alone the US government. Is it really any wonder everything he touches dies? Dysfunctional doesn’t begin to touch what happened the previous four years.

And the hits just keep on coming.

As I’ve said, Clarence Thomas needs to retire prontito from the Supreme Court. It really doesn’t matter if he knows what his wife is up to or might be a giant of legal thought. Technically, justices are not subject to usual ethical rules that apply to the rest of judiciary, but that is because it is assumed they set the standard. His decision to hang around only contributes to ungovernability.

Now we’re starting to see why Ginny fought so hard for the coup on a more personal level.

It wasn’t just being fellow travelers or being part of a cult, she also stood to lose almost unprecedented access to the most powerful person in the country with Trump’s loss. That’s a hell of a reason to fight dirty.

From the Beast article

Sometimes, the reason for the White House’s preemptive rejection, despite Thomas and Trump’s best efforts, were more outlandish. According to a person who reviewed one of the Thomas lists, one annotation for a MAGA job candidate noted that that individual had made too many extreme or offensive jokes on social media that were still visible.

“Too many extreme or offensive jokes”? - How would that even be possible?

Ginni Thomas: Thinks like Trump. Acts like Trump. Looks like Trump.

You figure if the first pass for review is done by some relatively sane staffer, he or she would flag potential problems like that.

“A lot of them were dripping with paranoia and read like they were written by a disturbed person.”

That’s only because they were. Evidently Ginni is well-known in DC as being batshit crazy, with extra helpings of both bat and shit.

A Republican finally acts on a jobs program and all we do is complain.

And that’s one of his good days.

I read stories like this, and I really do understand why the Russian, Chinese, and other intelligence services would read them as evidence that US is basically a basket case and they can invade other countries and murder their critics with impunity because we elect buffoons whose function is more theatrical than administrative.

What a schitzoid country, right? You have Jen Psaki and Steve Doocy in the same room, taking part in the same democratic ritual. Clarence Thomas doing so with Sonia Sotomayor. It must be baffling to them that anything gets accomplished. It is baffling to me, and I live here!

Their problem was that the posts were still visible. Not that the person was too extreme or offensive.

They want racists - but just as Atwater said - you can’t go around “saying ni..er this and ni..er that”.

And we do know he exchanged love letters with the frontman of the dreamiest K-pop band.

This is the biggest takeaway here. A demented True Believer, married to a Supreme Court Justice, and with drop-in access to the Oval Office.

I’m sure she also brought every little bit of rightwing gossip with her on her visits. This is the same as firing the Ambassador to Ukraine because of what someone said to him at the dinner table.
