After months of the Trump administration kneecapping their efforts to combat the COVID-19 pandemic, officials at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) are ready for President-elect Joe Biden, according to CNN.
“This is what we’ve been waiting for is for them to send their landing team here and set up shop,” an official told CNN on Tuesday, also responding with a “yes!” when they were asked if CDC leadership was feeling more enthusiastic lately.
We’re all CDC today.
No doubt they’re ready for change. Just think of all us private-sector citizens who have been barely holding on for the last 4 years.
Now think of all the good public sector workers in regular, low profile jobs who had no control over the direction of their agencies.
How relieved they all must be.

I feel the same way. He had no backbone to stand up for what was right. He let his integrity go to shit to appease a tyrant and remain in his good standing at the expense of the truth. There’s no room in the next administration for that kind of wussiness. He tried…but he also failed when the stakes were high and more times than we should allow him to forget.
It feels irresponsible to report on this. Trump’s just going to want to clean house. If we could all hold our breath for 8 weeks and not talk about government employees being excited for the upgrade, I don’t expect it would harm anything behind the scenes.
