President-elect Joe Biden has begun filling positions for his administration, and after making history by selecting the first woman who became the vice president-elect, he may be on the brink of another first — tapping the first Black woman to be named White House press secretary, NBC News reported on Wednesday.
I don’t mean to debase this by bringing up ‘optics’, but this would send a strong message that the US is returning to principles of inclusion. In short, it would be nice to see. If she gets the role, I wish her well.
Jean-Pierre is an excellent choice. Extremely bright and thoughtful in the appearances I’ve seen her. She just has a level of gravitas that would be refreshing in the position.
It will be Jean-Pierre… why? bcos of Kamala… that’s why. She (Jean-Piere) gets first dibs at Press Secretary. She is cool, suave, smooth, can take the heat and was last seen swathing away a would-be disrupter of Kamala’s talk…
Karine Jean-Pierre would be great in the job. I’ve often thought Jean-Pierre should be appointed to a position in government or as host of her own show on TV. I’ll gladly take press secretary to President-elect Biden.
Although I can’t help but wonder how the totally-not-racist dipshits on Fox, Newsmax, OANN, etc. will “mispronounce” her name every day she has the job.
