Democratic presidential hopeful Joe Biden is reportedly screening a number of Republicans as potential candidates for his Cabinet if he were to beat President Donald Trump in November.
If Biden has GOPers in spots in which, say, some type of Moscow McConnell-type power cannot be used to submarine progress, then I don’t have a problem with it.
The system we are going to need to set this country right will dictate the overtures, the positions and the people
Democrats need to focus their displeasure (how diplomatic) towards the CURRENT occupier of the WH and his Trump sucking minions. We have had a LOT of help this time from the Lincoln Group and other like-minded people. We disagree with many of each others point-of-view but have recognized a need to work together. This is the latest shiny object to deflect.
I read the Politico article, And I liked this
passage:
despite their criticisms, progressives have collected a handful of wins on the Biden transition. Former officials note that it’s customary to vet potential candidates from across the aisle
Somehow we have to start moving in the direction of fixing this divide because it’s killing our government and our society and it’s going to kill us.
I don’t have a problem with reaching across the aisle.
The remainder of the republican party has moved to full nazi mode, there is no more “moderate” part of them, save relative loyalty to the nazis.
The sooner we understand that there are no more normal people left to negotiate with, and that we need to just start running things entirely on our own, the better off we’ll be.
Dear sweet Jebus, please do not put a Republican in charge of DOD. They keep doing it, and all it does is reinforce the narrative that Democrats are weak on the military.
