Report: Biden Admin Discovers Trump Had Zero Plans For COVID Vaccine Distribution

Bingo. If the 400,000 dead and the however many sick are making him look bad, then they’re antagonists who can go to hell. They’re losers and suckers. They let the disease dominate their lives. You shouldn’t do that. “Depraved indifference” was never more apt.

Was it because he was totally consumed by other things, namely his image, self-dealing and the election?

Was it because he was an incompetent moron incapable of coming up with a plan or even realizing that one was necessary?

Was it because he just didn’t care so long as it didn’t affect him or hurt him politically?

Was it because he feared that having a plan would be an acknowledgement that the problem was much worse than he’d been willing to acknowledge before and thus make him look weak?

Was is because he’s a sadistic fuck who got off on seeing people suffer and die?

All of them, Katie?

Is there a level of incompetence and indifference so great that it become a criminal act?

There must have been some sort of plan because clearly millions of doses were distributed. I don’t doubt the plan was flawed but I want to know in what way. Lazy reporting that takes a Biden official at face value without seeking details doesn’t serve anyone. What have I missed?

Yet Pence held firm at the last minute and refused to attempt to mangle the certification.

Hawley and Cruz not so much.

He didn’t care. He was bored with it according to White House leaks.

Absolutely spot on

None of those leaks admitted to not having distribution plans. Weird

Please don’t ask us to hold our breath waiting for these damning questions to be asked. Because last I checked, my lung capacity can’t last as long as never.

You missed the part where the rich folks and connected got shots and the rest was hurled at the states with the message “have at it” resulting in some competent states doing well and others… not so much
And while I’m at it …
How do you “lose” 20 million doses?
Fess up Trumpies , ya sold them didn’t you ?

He was some form of idiot savant. My preference is that his brain had deteriorated further to the point where he had been unable to run in the first place.

That’s a separate issue, but let’s consider it in the context of offering yourself as a president. Correct, he said no, I can’t do that. The thing about Hawley and Cruz et al., as treacherous and wrong as it was, it was within their formal role and prerogative to vote that way. Pence didn’t even have that. And let’s drill down a little further. Pence is a rational coward. He does cowardly things if it accrues to his benefit. Trump had lost and nothing Pence could do would change it. So there was no benefit for him. Was he in any way honestly responsible? He went around Trump and got reinforcements. Most of this is arguably to his credit. But not much. About 95 percent of the population would have done as much. Officials in the relevant states simply did their jobs, in the face of brutal pressure. I didn’t hear Pence objecting to much of this effort to steal a national election. I didn’t see a resignation, a condemnation of it. So fuck him. He’s one of the worst in all this. He did the right thing when all the other options were exhausted.

I’d honestly rather a new plan was built from the ground up that people who actually know something put together.

There’d’ve been a Gordian knot of nonsense from the previous administration that would’ve gummed things up (as it did in its absence). Instead, the plan gets built from the ground up by public health experts who know how to get things done.

My concern is, the amount of vaccine that’s out there is all we have for the foreseeable. Even if the Defense Production Act is put into play TODAY, these vaccine manufacturers have to serve the nations that put their orders in. There’s no jumping to the front of the line in this case. We may not see new shipments for several weeks to a month. DPA won’t expedite that because the companies that would be directed to change their production can’t change it on a dime. It will still take time to do it.

I suspect that this will upset the 100 million in 100 days mantra we are getting. I’m hoping that, while we’re waiting for additional shipments, the infrastructure (!) for getting it into people’s arms is also put together.

We can do this. There’s a will and a way. The people in charge know what they’re doing and they have no muck to clear away to make it happen. Believe it or not, the lack of a Trump plan is the best news for me.

LOL. The Q-crowd is even more Trump-like than Trump…just stupider.

His depraved indifference was so great that it appears that it never dawned on him that letting people just die was going to cost him politically.

What I’ll ask is that people stop wildly exaggerating the extent to which the press doesn’t ask things. In fact they almost always ask. And almost never do they get a response.
