Report: Barr’s Own Selected Prosecutor Rejected ‘Deep State’ Conspiracy Theory

A draft of Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s report reportedly states that U.S. Attorney John Durham did not find evidence to support the right-wing conspiracy theory that the FBI’s Russia investigation was an effort to take down President Donald Trump.

Of course Barr disagrees, the report won’t say what he wants and he can’t do anything about it besides complain. That won’t stop him from trying to use propaganda to sink it, just like he did with the Mueller report…Barr will do anything to support the right wing takeover of America, and the truth just gets in his way.

Be ready, we will see a ton of spin from Republicans next week as they regurgitate Russian propaganda…that really should turn every American’s stomach, watching a party decide to join with a nation that has been our enemy for decades in their pursuit of power is just wrong.

This really should be candidate Donald Trump.
And Mein Gott when you have so many people connected to Russians, originally caught up with Russians trying to turn you (Carter Page), then why wouldn’t the FBI investigate? Because not only are Russians from another country but ‘Russians’ is also code for Russian Mob. Trump’s from NYC, he was a builder, Russians were intertwined in his business dealings, hence the FBI needed to figure out if it was foreign meddling or Mob meddling.

Well this is what he said yesterday:

Speaking to a roomful of police officers and prosecutors on Tuesday, Attorney General William P. Barr drew a parallel between protests against soldiers during the Vietnam War and demonstrations against law enforcement today.

But this time, he suggested, those who don’t show “respect” to authority could lose access to police services.

Can he signal any more clearly that he supports a right wing takeover of America?

Will Barr have the opportunity to “summarize” and redact the report before its release?

How many times did we have to see this supposedly intimidating photo offered up by the Q-mainlining rubes? It was going to result in a horrific number of lib arrests. Ahhh hahahahahahaha, cough, hahahaha.

Why is it so hard for Republicans to realize they have been fully co-opted by the Russians? Lock, stock and barrel.

Does he strain his food like a whale? Is he in some kind of weird contest with Bolton? Does it tickle? And assorted other juvenile questions.

Gotta think there are things we don’t know here, be it someone saying if you try to pull this crap I’ll go public with such and so, or if there’s some legal jeopardy you’d be in by putting this bullshit forward officially, or just some ulterior deal that cut this thing off at the knees.

Republicans know they’ve been coopted by the Russians. They don’t care. Defending Trump and getting reelected trumps all. No pun intended.

Gohmert, Nunes, Gaetz…so many not smart people on the Trump Party side. I could go on.

And here I thought the United States Police Force was just a fictional organization form a B SCIFI movie.

Barr’s take on ‘secular’ beliefs versus the so-called Christian heart of America joined with crap like his threat to withdraw law enforcement from areas that protest police misconduct is completely anti-democratic. He’s actually out there as a true exemplar for some of the right wing elites supporting the present administration (of chaos) led by Trump. They unabashedly want a white, probably mainly Protestant, state just as they imagine the Founding Fathers to have been. They completely managed to miss the point that those establishing the US were anything but white bread conformists - they were revolutionaries with educations steeped in the various philosophies of natural law and human rights and secular versus monarchical government ordained by God. They were flawed deeply in their views of blacks, women and other minorities, but created a system flexible and creative enough to embrace them all. They were not narrow-minded authoritarians such as Barr and Trump and their ilk.

Just try to imagine Barr and his buddies today writing : “we hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights.” He’d only agree if ‘men’ meant white land-holding males. He’d love to get rid of rights for anyone else.

Barr will simply say that the report does not definitively say that there was no possibility that there was an effort by someone, somewhere, to take down Trump.

The deep state is for shallow minds.

White yeah… Protestant? I don’t see Barr going there… he is Opus Dei after all

It’s become screamingly obvious that the entire GOP has abandoned basic democratic principles in support of a fascist takeover of the Nation.

They are all A-OK with Russian assistance in stealing power this way. The plan is so out there that we finally see it openly acknowledged in the mainstream media. Check our Max Boot’s opinion piece in today’s WaPo: The Republicans have become the party of Russia. This makes me sick.

“Read the whole thing,” to use an outdated intertube phrase. But the ending of Boot’s piece is worth a quote.

The party’s transformation into a Russian lickspittle makes me sick; “GOP” might as well stand for “Gang of Putin.”

That so many Republicans are just fine with it is yet another sign of how a once-grand party has lost its way. By turning into apologists and advocates for a Russian dictator, the Republican Party has become all that it once despised.
