Rep. David Obey (D-WI) announced his retirement today, telling reporters “there is a time to stay, and a time to go, and this is my time to go.”In a press conference on Capitol Hill, Obey said that it is time for his district to have “someone new” representing them in Congress. He also said “I am bone tired,” according to CNN.
