Pennsylvania’s acting secretary of state made a long-anticipated announcement Wednesday: There will be a recount in the Republican Senate primary.
If we learned one thing from November 2020, it’s that if is a close race, then it must be a crooked election. Disqualify them both.
If that doesn’t happen, then the voters voting for the loser in the primary should just sit out the general election in 2022 to demonstrate their power.

“McCormick filed a lawsuit with a lower court this week, asking for an emergency injunction mandating that undated mail-in ballots be counted. He asked the state Supreme Court to intervene soon after. McCormick has so far done better with mail-in votes than Oz.”
Oh, so I guess mail-in ballots are now OK?
I hope it ends up dead even because it would be more fun to watch them slug it out for weeks.
So far, McCormick seems to have less baggage and MAGAness than Oz. I wonder if he would be tougher for Fetterman to beat.
It strikes me that this, too, is a form of cheating:

Funny you say, “baggage.” Both are carpetbaggers. Although McCormick was born in PA, he has spent his entire life elsewhere, including CT. I don’t care how many “old Pennsylvania friends” appear in his commercials, he’s still from out of state.
Before I worked in marketing, I worked in television for 15 years. My name is in the credits of probably over 200 episodes of various reality TV shows. To this day I am amazed at the amount of people I have met who believe that what they see on TV is real and that the people they watch on TV are people that they actually know.
I’d guess a vast majority of people who voted for this quack doctor think they personally know him because he’s in their living room, daily. Millions believed they knew TFG personally.
Just pop on to a message board about Curb Your Enthusiasm and read the comments from people who think what they are watching is entirely real. Listen to people talk about the latest episode of Survivor and how they refer to all the contestants by their first name, like they are talking about a family member or neighbor.
This still blows my mind and never shocks me that these “celebrities” can run for office and receive votes. Even my own sister in 2015 told me she thought TFG would make a good POTUS. She was also a fan of The Apprentice.
Come on, guys. “Counting the votes” is a Democrat thing. What Mehmet and Davey need to do is mobilize their most violent supporters to fight it out on the street. That’s the GQP way!
