Recording Of Trump’s Call With GA Elections Investigator Found In Her Trash Folder

I realize that Donnie has “people” who track down stuff for him, arrange calls for him, because you know he is an idiot besides being POTUS at the time. But how did they find Francis Watson? I tried looking on the Georgia website for a staff listing in the Secretary of State’s office, but the page wouldn’t load.
If I was a candidate for Pres I would have gone, or had staff go to the SoS, and not the elections investigator first. Do we know if any WH or campaign staff, Lindsey tried reaching out before Donnie did so? Did they go through the Georgia GOP party people first?
I know that this “starting at the beginning” move doesn’t lessen or diminish what Trump did, but it’s the how this whole thing started that interests me.

The stupidity on the right is staggering. What else was in that recycle bin and who doesn’t know how to “empty recycle bin”? Dummies leading dummies is the only reason CONseratives are able to stay in power and sadly that really says a lot about America. One side is just plain stupid and the other too lazy to fully organize and get rid of the dummies.

There’s no telling how many other calls and communications were made to Georgia officials, and not just by Trump. Indeed someone told them to talk to Watson, so there must be others. The only way to get to the bottom of it is to get these people under oath. Many of them won’t say a word unless somebody asks them. They fear for their careers, if not worse.

You’re reminding me that, back in the early 1980s, Apple introduced the “Wastebasket,” a part of volatile memory such that files in it were deleted when you turned off the machine. Persistent “Trash” was introduced about a decade later (and was then copied by others).

Ms. Watson in Georgia may have dragged files to the Trash and simply forgotten to “empty” it. Not great, if her intention was to conceal.

But I also wonder if the file in question here was automatically or manually copied into some sort of time-stamped records database, in which case the original might have been superfluous, and Ms. Watson’s dragging it to the Trash therefore less significant.

Just some thoughts.

On many systems, the trash is a useful place to stash something that you don’t want people to find but still might want to retrieves sometime later. But this also shows the cursory level of investigation so far. Unless someone uses a secure deletion tool, even something that’s been emptied from the trash is relatively easy to recover on most computers. Might be a lot of machines worth searching.

“It is unclear why the recording was found there, and it remains unknown when the call file was moved to the trash.”

“Georgia’s Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has opened a criminal investigation into Trump and his allies’ attacks on the state’s election results. Willis sent letters to Georgia officials in February ordering them to keep documents related to the 2020 election, particularly those that may show evidence of election interference.”

Let’s see:
1 + 1 = 2
2 + 2 = 4

CNN refers to her title: "The audio file of the December 23 call between the former President and investigator Frances Watson "

I believe that’s an election investigator.

Is no one concerned with the way that the Democratic DA in Fulton county is attempting to politicize a little bit of criming on the part of the former President, instead of just moving on and helping the nation heal? I mean, what’s a couple of felonies, really? It’s not as if he actually succeeded in overturning the election, right? And if he had, we wouldn’t even be having this discussion, because he’d be the President. Look at the deficit! Migrant caravans, and stuff! COVID has killed many more people since Biden took office than in the Shit-Stain’s first couple of years in office! But the press never mentions that!

Nixon would have told T**** that this could happen. He had his own problems with trying to erase a conversation.

Sounds like Frances Watson should be going to jail for destruction of evidence and conspiracy after the fact. That is, unless he has something to offer the prosecutors…

Somebody had to find the names and numbers of officials who weren’t at a level where their names were being mentioned on Fox.

So, who did the grunt work, and who ordered them to do it?

If I’m remembering correctly in the call he discusses that she just met with Mark Meadows (his Chief of Staff) who was down their watching the audit of signatures.

Hey, it was a PERFECT call.

What’s the big deal?

ETA: All Trump calls are perfect - perfectly criminal.
