The damning phone call recording of ex-President Donald Trump trying to push Francis Watson, Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger’s top elections investigator, into reversing his electoral defeat was reportedly found in Watson’s digital trash folder before it became public.
“Hey guys, listen to this call. Do you think there’s any reason to preserve it, maybe forward it up the chain of authority? Nah? Yeah, I didn’t think so, either.”
[" ‘When the right answer comes out, you’ll be praised,’ Trump told her while peddling his self-victimizing lies about being the true winner of the election.
‘The people of Georgia are so angry at what happened to me, they know I won,’ he said (he did not win)."]
It is unclear why the recording was found there, and it remains unknown when the call file was moved to the trash.
“This would probably not sound too good if it ever came out in public, I better just get rid of it and pretend it never happened. Thank God I’m the elections investigator, and not someone who has their own agenda to harm the President!”
Considering that “trash” folders only keep data for a short period of time before permanent deletion, it raises the question of why Watson deleted the file more recently than closer to when the call actually took place?
Did the attempted deletion come after the information requests by investigators? If so…rutro. Time to lawyer up. .
This has me worried. HR1 is going to be fought tooth and nail, and even if it passes and all the lawsuits break for Dems, the numbers still seem to stink.
And Biden and Harris say the nation needs to follow the Obama doctrine: the nation must move on so all the ex-presidents can make nice and be huggie and warm…move on so the nation can heel.
