WASHINGTON (AP) — Tara Reade, the former Senate staffer who alleges Joe Biden sexually assaulted her 27 years ago, says she filed a limited report with a congressional personnel office that did not explicitly accuse him of sexual assault or harassment.
And the crackpot’s story changes dramatically yet again. This despicable liar doesn’t deserve 5 seconds of coverage, except to see her prosecuted for fabricating claims.
So, after the alleged incident, she was fired for the harassment report she didn’t file, which won’t corroborate her story, which conflicts with other verified reporting…am I following this right?
Memories are a fickle thing. There is no pattern that indicates Biden to be prone to the kind of assault that she describes. IMHO she doesn’t make a very convincing witness.
But Reade is suggesting that even if the report surfaces, it would not corroborate her assault allegations because she chose not to detail them at the time.
OK, but what if the report doesn’t surface? Does it mean that she’s a liar?
What congressional personnel office did she file the report with? Even without specific assault claims, a harassment or hostile workplace accusation against a Senator would be big deal. Surely someone (unless they’re deceased) would remember processing it.
I think this has crossed the line into the obvious. I imagine Biden was overly friendly and probably flirtatious as well. He may have touched her in a non sexual way. He’s known for having a limited sense of space. But it’s a bit of a stretch to say he “grabbed her by the pussy” today but omitted that in a complaint proximate to the event. I just can’t believe this.
As I said earlier the GOP playbook has “attack them on their strengths” on page 1. One of Biden’s strengths is he comes across as a nice guy. Dirty tricks are all about tearing down strengths.
If asked to believe one of two scenarios: Biden did what she said but she failed to note the elephant in the room when registering a complaint right after it happened 27 years ago or today’s GOP is funding her to create that elephant I’d have to go with the latter.
