The House Intelligence Committee on Tuesday released the prepared remarks of Daniel Goldman, the committee’s director of investigations and its witness before the Judiciary Committee in Tuesday’s hearing on the impeachment inquiry.
Where’s the smocking gun?
Not that it’s any surprise, but I’m certainly glad that the technically most proficient lawyers and investigators are with the Democratic Congress.
It helps that they’re good attorneys. It also helps that they’ve got a lot to work with.
I just hope Nadler doesn’t tire out putting up with these imbeciles and do or say something the maggots would jump all over.
I expect the gavel hammer to be beat up pretty good over the next few hours.

This will come in handy when Hank the Trumphole and I are both scheduled at the local GOP Cocks—I mean, Republican, headquarters Wednesday. Last time, Hank screamed at me – literally screamed – that I wanted the President impeached because I didn’t like him.
I said, I don’t like him. I think he’s an incompetent who will do nothing but get tax breaks for his rich buddies and loot the treasury when he’s not getting us into trouble. That set him back on his heels and he started yelling that I hated the president.
I laughed in his face then and said “I just don’t like him cause he’s an incompetent, Hank. It’s sorta like my relationship with you. I think you’re an asshole but I don’t HATE you. That would imply you’re worth the trouble.”
(Hank was flabbergasted and I took advantage of it.)
“The Whiner in the White House is getting his old ass impeached because of ‘I would like you to do a favor for us, though.’ By ‘us’ he meant ‘him.’ That’s why he’s getting impeached, not because we don;t LIKE him. Of COURSE we don’;t like him. He’s about as lovable as a rattlesnake.”
Now I have Goldman’s statement in case Hank shoots his mouth off again. Course I really don’t expect that until the Senate votes ‘not guilty.’ Meanwhile, I must memorize parts of this.

Agreed. That case report looks very straight forward, and very, very compelling to me. Not one statement in that case report can be challenged as not being absolute fact, and those facts lead to the irrefutable conclusion of a gross abuse of power, extortion, and bribery, all of which are deserving of impeachment and removal from office.
I don’t believe trump ever intended to have Zelensky visit the WH. That would have gone against Putin’s orders.
