In every case that these assholes cite, the Legislature deferred to the Executive, and gave said Executive the authority to conduct a free and fair Election under very trying circumstances, (COVID-19 running rampant due to the incompetence of the Trump administration). In no case did the Executive’s procedures break the law in the states listed. These complaints were separately adjudicated in nearly 60 different courts. Trump’s bums did not win ONE case. The State Bars these assholes belong to should permanently pull the law license of any genius associated with this patent attempt to overrule Democracy itself.
Amazing how Chump can get his idiot Rubes to believe his victimization crap. When Chump is out of power, all he can do is call the current president a disgrace, a disaster, and if he was running things…yadda yadda yadda. But when he IS running things, they are constantly stealing things from him, getting away with murder, it’s a disgrace, and a disaster, and our elections were run like a 3rd world country…and somehow jewish space lasers are teaming up with Italian aerospace to pull a whammy on him. Maybe whoever was president should have DONE SOMETHING about it…oh that’s right, he did. He basically made lame-ass threatening calls to election officials and sent a team of putzes to court in blatant attempts at THEFT on camera. And then tried the most cowardly and ham-handed ON TV coup attempt to destroy his own country that he was leading. And The Rubes loved it! Made them feel good.
Perhaps a real president with all the powers of hell and CIA and FBI and Defense at his command could have sniffed out and stopped the judeo-italian lasers, and caught those meanies stealing his election red-handed!
What you miss is that we are the crack experts in this scenario…
I’ve seen similar photos before, but it’s a sobering reminder of what happened in occupied Europe. I’ve known people who lived through it, seeing neighbors dragged out of their homes and shot in the street.

The Jan 6 raiders are the kind who would enlist in an SS-type unit in a heartbeat.

I dined regularly as a youth with people who had 12 years of experience with the Third Reich and the Wehrmacht.
Collective memory is an underrated characteristic. There are people who would drop the Trump foolishness in an instant if Rod Serling exposed them to about 1% of what the Germans I called by their first names went through.
AFAIK, Epstein hadn’t been accused of crimes at that time. If you have something that shows he had been, fair enough.
True.
IIRC, what we learned about the speeches was that she didn’t say anything privately that conflicted with her public positions, and her public positions were to increase regulation, stop banks from moving a shitload of assets overseas and actually hold management accountable for financial crimes, and she was for raising taxes on the wealthy.
Well, yeah, but I’m not going to fault her for the attempt.
She was definitely presidential material.
I guess this will be re-litigated forever, but you know as well as I that
- she won the popular vote by almost 3 million votes
- the electoral margin from the 3 states was clearly pretty thin and we still don’t have the full results from the investigation into DT’s collusion with Russia, Fancy Bear, etc
- the press shit all over her (eg, headlines “Questions continue to swirl around the Clinton emails” long after all questions had been answered. I assume you’ve seen the word cloud on press coverage of the campaign. See also Chuck Todd’s assessment that she was “over-prepared” in the debates, which is more than a little ridiculous when interviewing for leader of the free world, but I didn’t see much pushback on the sentiment in the press. IMHO, the fragging from the Susan Sarandons of the world didn’t help.
Yep, we had neighbors like your friends. Others survived concentration camps. Kids in high school and college lived in occupied Europe.
The had some gut-wrenching stories.
Only because she was running against Trump in a competition of who was more despised by more people. Had she been running against a “normal” Republican, would have been a landslide for the Republican.
After pairing several of our agents who were near retirement with @castor_troy for some minor missions, once again troy finds himself without a partner. After consultation with Mr. Soros, we’ve decided to pair playit and troy to see if they can work together as an effective unit.
Gentlemen, there is a small matter in Luxembourg that needs your attention. Count Sigismund Von Graaffstein seems to be the center of quite a few little skirmishes with Mi5 and they’ve asked our assistance. Passports, Euros, and the mission brief will be delivered to your doors by one of our Lawn Service trucks. good luck.
I don’t know about that either.
T**** brought a lot of new crazies to the voting booth who never previously voted.
The fact is that we will never know how the election would have turned out if the there were different candidates.
No, but with the enthusiasm (or lack thereof) factor, we can make some reasonable assumptions. I knew plenty of people who were excited to vote for Obama, didn’t get anything of that around Clinton. Had the Republican been less odious, we’d have lost a bunch of people who were generally on the fence.
“Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, State of”?
Yes, I know that Pennsylvania is a commonwealth, as are Massachusetts, Virginia, and Kentucky. That’s not what I’m questioning.
It’s a moo point.
OT: If I write a response to another poster, say, halfway down the list of comments, actually posting my comment shows me my comment — down at the bottom, and I have no way to find where I was before posting. That’s really annoying.
There used to be a settings option where you could tell this benighted commenting software not to do that. It disappeared a couple years ago with the update that did fix quite a few things.
But you can click the little up-arrow icon in the upper right of your own post to take you back to the post you were responding to.
There used to be a setting option to “remain in place” but sadly it was dropped in one of the botched “upgrades”.
What you can still do is post, then once you’re transported to the end, select the “parent” arrow (in my browser it’s at the top left of the post). Hit it and it will sometimes take you back to the post you responded to, some times it will open a copy above your post. If it was the later, hit again and it will “take you back”.
The one wrinkle that it has now flagged every single post in the thread as “read” so you need to now keep track of the post counts. I reported this as a bug when they first broke it years ago, but as with pretty much all the bugs in the comment system, nothing is ever done to fix them. Sadly, they clearly have no understanding of the value of the comment system and its community…
Where said people were members of the press, Hillary was the clear winner of that competition.
A big mistake, but I think it’s part of her proper Midwestern Methodist upbringing that crops up from time to time. There’s no way she actually thinks or expresses that kind of thing privately. And I think the candidates were asked to say something nice about each other. She shouldn’t have taken the bait.
This tendency is something I would have advised her to get past. In this age of all kinds of direct communication (before radio and then TV and internet) hardly any voters ever saw anything of a candidate other than reading a speech in a newspaper. Before around 1880 photographs were not even reproducible in print. Being a straight shooter is a better look than trying to be polite and sociable.
She talked about Trump upstaging her by looming behind her in a debate and said something about what was she supposed to do, turn around and confront him. Yes, that is what she should have done.
Ouch. That’s harsh. But he got on the wrong side of the law and I can’t say it’s not well deserved. Plus, he wasn’t stealing to feed his family, he was doing it to protect his million dollar lifestyle.
HRC hate. Pure and simple. Half baked, under-educated, pick and choose HRC hate. Sad to still see it.
