READ: Senate Intel Concludes Russia Intervened In 2016 To Boost Trump | Talking Points Memo

Kiev was the russian translation, Kyiv is the Ukrainian. After the breakup of the Soviet Union, moves like that were made over time to more denote their status as a country. Both are still technically correct.

I have beaten this drum in the past, and I do it here again:
There are not more than 9 people in this entire country who voted FOR Pence. He was everybody’s afterthought except his family’s.

I always assumed it was because Ukrainian is a different language than Russian so it is a point of post Soviet pride.

Midwestern women aren’t going to like her if propaganda successfully paints her as a liar whose shtick is always trying to position herself as a victim.

Hmmmmm…one might think some of them would relate to that…

Just so they don’t mess with San Francisco which those same Americans love to shorten to 'Frisco. And then I have to remind them that’s a town in Texas.

The Republican-controlled Senate.

In this one instance, they have been unable to deny reality.

No, I’ve seen the Berners attack Warren and the rabbits attack Bernie. People fall in love with their candidate and start attacking all others thinking that it’s the best way to get their candidate nominated. It isn’t. It just alienates others should their candidate win and makes them bitter if their candidate loses. We all should focus on why our candidate is the best and leave the mud-slinging to the GOP.
