Well, that’s one opinion. Another is that Hillary colluded with Ukraine to lose the election. But the most likely one is that America has fallen through a worm-hole in the space-time continuum into a parallel universe where orange-tinted aliens control all thought processes. The Senators are trying to show, when it doesn’t matter, that they have some trace of integrity left. But having stumbled upon the truth, they picked themselves up and went on as if nothing had happened.

When has that ever mattered? Attacking her for “lying” about being fired for being pregnant will resonate with white male fright about women and browns taking their jobs. Moreover, it will jibe with accusation of her having “lied” about her native American heritage to expand her employment opportunities to take white men’s jobs.
