READ: Prepared Testimony Of Ukraine Ambassador Ousted By Trump | Talking Points Memo

Worse than that, she showed her opposition to free market capitalism when she interfered with the efforts of unnamed people who “believed that their personal financial ambitions were stymied by our anti-corruption policy in Ukraine.”

Outside of maybe the Baltics is there any country that was part of the Soviet Union that is not a kleptocracy?

Another guy who looks f***ed is Sondland. Pompeo too. I don’t see how Sondland doesn’t come clean now. Volker, Fiona Hill and Yovanovtich are going to bury him. With Schiff in charge, Sondland doesn’t get a preview of what others are saying to align his testimony. He knows what he did, and some of the worst of what other witnesses have said. That makes it harder for him to protect Trump. The fact that the firing of Yovanovitch is part of a criminal indictment and all members associated with said indictment (and their boss) are well know to Sondland makes it even more imperative for him to testify or risk getting indicted. I think he should still be indicted because he was the operational arm of the Trump shakedown.

The Ambasador was loyal to the United States, took a fall for her loyalty to our country against the corrupt president, corrupt republican members of the senate and a good number of judges, including the Federalist Society member of SCOTUS. A combined formidable force against her,

This is what courage, loyalty, honestly and integrity looks like.
Rare today!

Rudy strikes me as the type to have kept records of their wrongdoing in the likelihood that Trump would someday throw him under the same bus he’s thrown everyone else. He’s said to have been a once brilliant prosecutor, and I can’t imagine all of that just disappears. He’s got to know that the first one to flip always gets the best deal. Plus, he’s a vindictive, famewhoring weasel who I could see turning on Trump in a bid for more TV time.

Most likely she was getting in the way of a natural gas deal where trump was getting a slice. That’s why she had to go.

Rudy Giuliani’s who apparently “believed that their personal financial ambitions were stymied by our anti-corruption policy in Ukraine.”

Another case of projection. What hey accuse Hunter Biden of doing is exactly what they want to do in Ukraine.

Well, they can’t have kompromat on everyone.

I know this is snark, but I’m getting tired of the “lock him/her up” even as that. At T***p rallies, the unstated coda is “for being a political enemy”. In the US, we aren’t supposed to lock up our political enemies, and so that line gives me the creeps even offered innocently (as you did). I’ve even seen a couple of elected Democrats take an admittedly ambiguous step in that direction. It’s one thing to expect that T***p and associates will eventually face prison for crimes committed; it’s another to hope he will because he is our political enemy. Let’s keep that very clear.

Volker looks like a willing participant in the text messages. I was stunned at how much he was playing along with something so obviously criminal.
