READ: Prepared Testimony Of NSC Official Who Listened To Trump’s Ukraine Call | Talking Points Memo

It is all hanging together. The 2nd tier is taking him down and there is nothing Trump or his top flunkies can do about it. God bless the career professionals.

Finally. Somebody said what Dems should have been saying for over a month now. Don’t say Chump was trying to dig dirt on a political opponent, you say it is treasonous and criminal to:

“I did not think it was proper to demand that a foreign government investigate a U.S. citizen,” Vindman plans on saying

Interesting for bystanders. A day in need of serious flak jackets from the ranting rage of the sole “team” player, for folks working there.

Screw that. For me it’s Mexican Martinis: Tequila with a dash of salt and 7 thin orange rinds on top.

It’s amazing how many radical, unelected bureaucrats there are out there.

I am sorry, I don’t catch your meaning. I am sure many readers think that when I post, so we are part of the same club. That said, I get a sense that there is a point, which is worth considering that I am missing.

Well, it’s good to not jump to conclusions but …

In early 2017, when Trump was still accusing Obama of having wire-tapped Trump Tower, young Ezra Cohen-Watnick went about building the “case,” which he then “shared” with Devin Nunez. Everyone remembers that.

Well, John Eisenberg was a helper in that escapade.

And he and Cohen-Watnick were both Michael Flynn hires.

I’ll bet President Pense is starting to sound better and better. He’ll nominate the same right wing wackos to the judiciary and fight for tax breaks for the wealthy. What more do you need. With Trump gone, the Republicans may have shot at hanging on to the White House.

He’s operating outside the normal military chain of command in his WH position and as such I don’t believe that any superior officer can do that. If one tries, they’re suddenly under intense scrutiny too.

Um, no. Pence can’t pense, McTurdle’s spent all his political capital, and there’s no chance Repubs keep the WH. We’re seeing a slow-walking of the GOP’s near-term demise. It’ll come back, but in a different guise. Romney will likely be one of its leaders.

The order would be illegal. A senior officer can’t legally order anyone to obstruct justice. This man’s career might be over but then again there are a lot of ways for somebody with his experience to make a living.

Some are locked into the Fox conspiracy theories/cult like think (spinned fact free from Alex Jones, Gateway Pundit, Brietbart or the like - and then mainlined into rightwing media via Fox) that they believe anything that explains away what is clear (including ETTD), even QAnon porn. I like to think it is a small part of the gop contingency.

Others either fear backlash from any dissent (I think this is the largest slice of the gop contingency) and aren’t ready to risk facing a trumpian primary challenge for the slightest transgression of not being loyal enough - and stay as silent as possible, or start parroting the UKraine conspiracies (and in essence are gas lighting their constituents) because there is nothing else to grab onto as an excuse. I don’t expect anything more from them.

And yes - oh what a week we have ahead of us.

I think Eisenberg is a dead lawyer walking. He will be lucky if all he loses is his law license. He is probably on his way to prison. His only chance is to sing like a bird.

Trump is paying now for all the stupid things he has said about, and all the stupid things he is still doing to, the intelligence community.

If there is justice in this world, the evidence is going to bury him.

What is going to happen with the elected Republicans is they will hold on, they will hold on, they will hold on and then all of a sudden they will realize Trump is so weakened he can’t hurt them, then they will jump as a group.

Take it on the idea that all things come down to the oath they take.
