that might be what they say, but they could not conclude that the matter was outside the purview of the DNI without reading the transcript.
Oh lordy, Nunes gets to speak. They need to invent a bovine muzzle for that asshole.
CAN THE SUPREME COURT OVERTURN?
No. Trump has said on Twitter that he would ask the Supreme Court to intervene if Democrats tried to impeach him. But the founders explicitly rejected allowing appeal of a Senate conviction to the federal judiciary.
Certainly they could. The intent was never to make the right or legally correct decision. If he just reads the WB report, then he can claim he didnât really know what the issue was all about (or the severity of the actions), he wasnât cleared to read the call, and so on and so forth. That doesnât make it ethically or legally correct.
And the Whistle-blower states that this is not the first time that information that would be politically embarrassing to the President has been stored on this Top Secret computer. I sure would like to see the rest of the stuff heâs referring to.
DNI keeps repeating his rationale for not meeting the definition of âurgent concernâ. And needless to say its total bunk.
Yesterday R campaign consultant Mike Murphy said he was told by a Senate R that if they could vote in secret thereâd be at least 30 votes to convict. Then you got those we know are squishy, McSally, Tillis, Gardner and Miss Susan.
They picked the one thing they really didnât care about. Youâll notice they didnât repeal any tax cuts or fire any judges.
Pretty much agree with that. One thought though. Since this began, this issue went off the rails quickly for the White House. They have not entered the FUD factor (Despite Nunes best efforts) anywhere near as efficiently as they have with other issues. Before following your line of thought, we need to see what comes of this week. This is a sweater unraveling at a rapid pace.
This scandal is in desperate need of a Martha Mitchell
His ignorance of the Constitution is breath taking.
Shut up, Devin, youâre really not helping.
Itâs not a major thing, perhaps ⌠but, I wonder who paid for Rudyâs trips to meet the Ukrainians? Was it taxpayer money? Because, he isnât employed by the U.S. and he certainly wasnât working on our behalf. He has even said he was doing it for his client, Donald J. Trump. Just another item to put on the corruption checklist.
Heâs right: this is an outcome of the Deep State. A horde of organized, well-meaning bureaucrats who have Americaâs best interests at heart.
Trump was on a re-tweet storm this morning, using the twaddle from his right-wing supporters to claim innocence.
As soon as the WB complaint was released, he stopped tweeting.
That is quite telling.
So between the DNI head saying he was waiting for the WH to declare executive privilege and it not reaching the level of âurgent concernâ he has two rationales he keeps flipping back and forth on to justify why he held up this complaint. Which is it, moron?
Heh. Now Nunes is going after this guyâŚAnd he thought heâd have an easier time with a Republican questioning him. Sorry, dude. Youâre not gonna get a free pass today. You done screwed up. No one is gonna save you from yourself.
Republicans will hang you out to dry if they have to. Nunes says, âBe careful what you say hereâ. Do I hear an implied threat?
This is a good question. I suspect he is not doing this work for free. Does Rudy have a retainer to work for Trump or the campaign? I am guessing that the campaign is paying for Rudyâs excursions.
Well, we can be pretty certain he didnât stop tweeting in order to read.
Since he was campaigning itâs been that way. Itâs gotten worse now that some kind of neurological disorder has set in. Yesterdayâs ramble at the UN was disgraceful.
HRC warned us as only she could, and no one listened.
jesus⌠nunes is a moron.
