But …It will force Republicans to say “I’m with the Racist”
Not that any one of them will have a problem with it except for the one black guy

Gee, it seems awful close to the election for Pelosi to allow this resolution a vote. Moving the Deplorables into the Dem column is really going to be rough sledding now.

Yes, force them to take an affirmative position standing with the racism. And then shove it down their throats during the campaign.

Yes, force them to take an affirmative position standing with the racism. And then shove it down their throats during the campaign.

That would be a sound strategy if not for the fact damn near half the population are inveterate racists, xenophobes and misogynists on par with Trump.

The only people that hate women more than Republican men are Republican women.

Exactly, the 2020 campaign is against Trump and his enablers in Congress. If you stand with the racist treasonous pedophile prepare to be consigned to the dustbin of history.

And so the recreational rapist put the uppity women back in their place. NOT!

Tweetler doesn’t care.

Now watch how many RepubliKKKlans stand with their Führer when this comes up for a vote.

And a majority of white women in this country are in the Kim Davis mold who gladly worship God’s Anointed King Trump.

You missed the last sentence of the resolution: “Oh, and here, have another $4 billion to lock kids up in cages.” Yeah, it’s so awesome having Party Leadership that Gets Stuff Done…

(And before anyone mewls, “But, the Senate!”, I’ll remind you that Mitch McConnell has never once mewled, “But, the House!” He always finds a way to get Nancy Pelosi to pass his agenda in the House. Why is that?)

LOL! Those fucking cretins will wear that shit like a badge of honor! Once again the Speaker does the heavy lifting for the GOP. Once again Democrats will snatch defeat from the jaws of victory…

If your opinion is true, is there any strategy that will work?

I wouldn’t be surprised if a Republican in Congress introduces a counter-resolution praising Trump for his blatant racism and desire to make America a country for white people only … or, at the least, to put people of color in their place.

I don’t know what Nancy is thinking of. Condemning racism in present-day America is political suicide.

Is it sternly worded? Because that’s sure to have a really great effect.

The “Founders,” most of whom were slave-owners, conceived of a country where Africans and African-Americans were enslaved, women were not allowed to vote, and wealthy white men would forever rule America.

Trump would have fit right in with them.

It is only a matter of time before Trump utters the “N” word in public and every RepubliKKKlan in Congress will fall in line to defend his use of that word including Will Hurd and Tim Scott.

Lots of Whereases, but it seems to trickle off the edge when it starts talking about “new Americans and people of color.” There’s a parenthetical about people of color that Trump assumes are immigrants, but I think it would have been far better to observe that every member of Congress is a citizen and all are equal before the law and in their role as elected members of Congress.
Trump’s racism lies in assuming that those who are people of color cannot be “native born,” and must come from ‘shitholes,’ as he calls countries who have majority people of color. His call for them to return to their nasty crime ridden places of origin demonstrates contempt not only for them but for the countries from which their families originated. He is in the same position as each of the three citizens, with a foreign born mother and, worse, a father who pretended not to be of German origin. None of these four women have denied their heritage.
In short, I wish there had been more focus on what he said and how despicable it was in so many ways, rather then Whereasing to death.

Here’s why we shouldn’t do this:

“He’s not worth it.”
“It’s what he wants.”
“It will inflame his base.”
“It will do nothing. He’ll still be there. It won’t remove him from office.”
“The only solution is to vote him out. Nothing else is going to matter.”

Ok…ok…I’m trolling. Stand up for your values.
