Adam Schiff, restoring intelligence to the Intelligence Committee.

And then Nunes opened his big fat maw.

Thank you, Rep. Schiff!

On the plus side, Nunes didn’t lose an ounce of cud while he spewed.

This second part of the hearings just got off to a brilliant start with Schiff’s opening statement BUT . . . . Mueller began by offering a correction on his earlier testimony and WALKED BACK his answer to Ted Lieu. I shouldn’t be surprised, but I am. The GOP will have a field day with that.

Schiff is awesome.

Early thread derailment - For the love of all that is holy or unholy, can anyone tell me why live blogs run bottom to top?

Now back to the show …

So, after digesting this statement, we can assume Adam Schiff is feverishly, tirelessly, relentlessly lobbying Nancy Pelosi to commence impeachment proceedings against President Trump.

Amazing statement by Schiff.

His questioning was also good. Schiff: Trump built campaign messaging based on stolen material. His campaign lied to cover it up. Mueller confirms. Absolutely damning.

Too bad, so sad.

The initial statement is already written into the congressional record. He can try walking it back, but it’s there for perpetuity.

The contrast between the remarks and questions of Schiff and Nunes is stunning and telling.

The fruits of 2018.

None of this would be happening if libs hadn’t gotten off their asses and stormed the polls last year.

It’s not fast enough, it’s not strong enough, but this is categorically a different ballgame than the first years of Trumpist misrule when the entire federal government was controlled by traitors and criminals.

Jim Himes (D - CT) just gave a masterful presentation on how to handle a hostile witness. Every time Mueller tried to evade coming to a conclusion, Himes provided the conclusion as a direct quote from the report. Other Dems on the committee should take note.

Both statements are there for perpetuity. Which one do you think will be plastered all over the news?

And there we get to the rot of our problem, people lied, people lied for money, and those people cared not at all for the people of their country, the people recognized in our constitution to which they swore an oath when taking office.

It is a thing so big and bad we hardly think to make a law against it, because it just ain’t done.

To paraphrase Ronald Reagan, you can go live in Russia but you’ll never become a Russian.

This incredible statement -were I the Democratic nominee for President in 2020 -would be my closing argument on election night eve. No way Donald Trump should spend even one more day in the White House. Disloyalty to Country…says it all.

General Schiff on the warpath!!!

Trump doesn’t belong in the White House. He belongs in a white cell.

Sadly this will not be reported by the MSM. The headlines will all be ‘Mueller testifies no criminal collusion!’. And that’s all the majority of the voters will hear of it.
