Rattled Trump Whisked Away To Underground White House Bunker Amid Protests

It isn’t getting the new coverage it deserves. I suppose “balance” dictates that when the president is cowering in the basement, the press must not cover his opponent, either.

To do that, one would first have to try.

That ad could have been made by anyone, at any time in the last twenty years (at least).

The SPLC did try, some years ago.

It’s just a repeat of 2016 when Trump was staging his mad rallies and we looked at an empty podium until he deigned to show up, while Hillary was giving a substantive speech on policy proposals and got no coverage.

We haven’t taught the media a damned thing.

Actual discussions probably going on in Trump’s campaign right now…

“Okay, so how do we continue to leverage Trump’s tough guy, law-and-order, persona during this time of social unrest?”

“Well, a good way to start would be to get him out of the bunker he’s cowering in and change his soiled big-boy pants. Not necessarily in that order…”

“Alright… I’ll send in Jared.”

[Biden’s visit to Wilmington] isn’t getting the new coverage it deserves.

If they covered Joe Biden, it would prove “librul bias.” It’s the main rule in “journalism” these days.

Yep. He’s spent nearly four years picking at America’s oldest and ugliest scab. Remember the time he gave a speech to some police organization and said they needed to stop protecting people’s heads as they put them in police cars? He’s cheered on and even encouraged police brutality. He’s the Racist in Chief. He exploits America’s pain for political gain. Racism and police brutality didn’t start on his watch, but he’s used every tool at his disposal to stoke the fires, to make it worse, to pour Everclear into an open wound. We’re here partly because he brought us here. So, yeah, he had it coming.

Impressive.
Trump turns United States into “shit hole country” in record time.

The President spent about an hour in the bunker

Once he found at that there were no gold plated, or bejeweled toilets in the bunker he had not choice but to leave.

"this is the President of the United States, do we want him in danger for his life? What precedent does this set for the future?

I’m sorry but this is unacceptable, the Secret Service failed to maintain a buffer zone. It never should have gotten to this point, regardless of who is president"

Let me ask you this?
DO YOU THINK IT WAS ACCEPTABLE FOR TRUMP TO SENT OUT AN OVERT CLARION CALL TO THE MAGA’S TO COME AND PROTEST AT THE WHITE HOUSE BECAUSE HE’S KNOWS THEY ARE VIOLENT? Not shouting at you but want this question to stand out.

tRump said in a tweet:
“MAGA NIGHT AT THE WHITE HOUSE”

Obviously he has called for citizens of the US to be harmed. Look at the other tweeet:
Donald Trump tweeted “When the looting starts, the shooting starts,” while threatening to send in troops to have Minneapolis protesters shot.

So, its OK for him to call in the dogs in but not for protesters to protest and NO ONE called for tRump to be harmed except in his little mind. Also, the provocateurs that are being arrested for inciting violence has all been show to have connections to some white supremacist groups.

At least there will be a few hours without major policy fuck ups.
What an absolute disaster of an administration

It’s all about creating a fraudulent narrative to comfort racists, even poor whites, whose racism holds primacy over the realities of their economic sujugation by monied interests.

Neither the trauma of slavery for African Americans nor their heroic, heartbreaking freedom struggle found a place in that story. But the Lost Cause narrative also suppressed the memories of many white southerners. Memories of how, under slavery, power bred cruelty. Memories of the bloody, unbearable realities of war. Written out too were the competing memories and identities that set white southerners one against another, pitting the planters against the up-country, Unionists against Confederates, Populists and mill workers against the corporations, home-front women against war-besotted, broken men.

Wonder if anyone has thought of using one of these? Probably hard to come by, but people are usually pretty resourceful.

Only applies to a President who actually has a family living with him or her in the residence.

Btw, where IS Melania?

They are doing some serious backtracking on that claim:

But data from Hennepin County showed more Minnesotans were arrested in protest areas of Minneapolis than people from out of state.

Of those booked, 47 were from Minnesota and 10 listed addresses from out of state, according to data for jail bookings likely associated with the protests. And of the Minnesotans arrested, 21 were from Minneapolis and St. Paul while 26 came from outside the two cities.

Fear to Trump
is like
water to the Wicked Witch.

But it got enough coverage that I knew about it. I’m not sure it’s a huge deal in the scheme of things. Delaware is a place where you do retail politics or you don’t do politics at all. It’s unsurprising he’d get in his car and head into town to talk to folks. I don’t see this is a great opportunity to do some media-bashing. Better ones will come, don’t worry.

Originally, I was surprised. I thought Trump wanted encounter with the crowd (to settle with those libs and inferior people for good)

  • Trump tweets about the dogs to make people more enraged

  • For the purpose of luring them into the WH

  • For the ultimate purpose of mano a mano serious beatdowns with Trump kicking ass

Those who said that were apparently … not drawing from reliable data.

I’m assuming that in this case the First Family isn’t in the WH because they don’t actually live there.
