As a Marylander, I have followed Jamie (and his father Marcus) for years. Quite simply, Jamie doesn’t misstep. No one gives me more faith and comfort in the process than this American hero.

One thing to watch as time goes on is who else leaves his circle for well, reasons. Also note what we are not seeing. Maybe it is the media self editing, but we are not seeing the frequent sightings of the man on the golf course as we once did. Is he showing up anywhere that shows a picture of man really enjoying his life. His cute little transmits look like emotional reactions and not even moderately competent gas lighting. He may not be in the deranged category at the moment, but he is solely focused on trying to convince everyone he is relevant by providing disjointed accusations and statements that are not doing him any favors. This is all eating at him. Must be a fun guy around the family dinner table right now.

At 13 Jesus was in the Temple and he debated the folks there, He didn’t ransack anything then. Much later…20 years later in fact Jesus did overturn the tables of the money changers but he never damaged the Temple inner sanctum or anything other than what the money changers were up to…ever. He did accuse the money changers of being “a den of thieves”. The normal coinage used outside the temple had to be changed into coinage of the Temple and at inflated values so that the people could make their various sacrifices. The cattle, sheep and doves they sacrificed weren’t cheap. The money changers inflated values of the Temple coins were how the Temple priests made a living. Of course Flynn is unaware of what happened during the life of Jesus since he is running on the bullshit spewed by Fox and preachers of today who are unaware of what the Bible actually says.

The republicans fall so far short of courage and love of country, after pretending they were the most patriotic, most troop-supporting, most god-fearing. Now, apple pie eating? Sure.

Indeed. Jesus wasn’t really into violence. His anger at the money changers is the only instance of him getting really angry that I am aware of. If he were an violent guy the Bible would’ve said so.

I have one degree of separation with Jamie. My nephew went to high school with his deceased son. I would never try to lay claim to another’s grief, it’s not mine and I cannot imagine its depth, but Tommy’s death made a shock wave in that community. The Raskins have been incredibly generous in helping others with their grief. That, in my view, is the most loving and giving thing one can do.

When I was a PhD grad student my mentor was a devout Christian. He taught the members of his lab the real sayings and happenings in the life of Jesus. It prompted me to read for myself what the Bible says. These days I am a non-believer but I highly respect who Jesus was and how he behaved.

I think we already know whatever convictions he might earn (as a badge of honor) would be immediately appealed to “a higher court.” Thus the properly dotted and crossed letters.
Patience, I’m told, is a virtue. With mountains of evidence growing against Dr. Cadet Toglans mit der Bone Spurs von Queens snowballing by the day, excepting the fact that he’s white and has everyone bamboozled into thinking he has money, I too can’t believe he hasn’t been cuffed and ruffed (up) by whatever local PD.

One would think, but I’m of the opinion that Trump could take dump on the Resolute Desk and he would be no worse off politically.
I’m in the camp who, early on, was glad he won the nomination in 2016 because I thought he was going to be easier to beat than Jeb Bush, or whomever else.

I have heard that Mike Flynn has surrounded himself with an elite Republican Guard team consisting of highly trained biological weapons experts and assault team members who had previously served in the highest echelons of military intelligence and combat operations. It is indeed a very scary thought.
Doug Kuzma, a right wing radio host and his entourage attended an extremist ReAwaken Traitors rally led by Mike Flynn and Eric Trump and said they were deliberately infected with anthrax through the fog machines by the organizers. Doug Kuzma died in less than 2 weeks after contracting the deadly disease.

The story of the Wedding at Cana was the one I pointed to when people asked why we, as Catholics, would pray to Mary. “Mary dragged her son along to her friend’s wedding. When they ran out of wine, knowing all her life who her son was and would become, she turned to him and pointed out that they needed wine. Jesus was understandably upset. 'Woman, it is not my time!”. She pretty much just looks at him, the way Moms do, so of course he did what she wanted!"
