I have to hand it to him. Politically this was a smart argument to make - not on the merits but on the deflection. And, as an added bonus, comparing Trump to an African American women is gonna leave a mark.

Raffensperger’s attempt to both-sides Trump’s democracy shredding may be an effort to remind those within his party that he is, indeed, one of them — a Republican.

The comparison is this:
Stacey Abrams efforts are to make it possible for every eligible citizen to be able to vote and have their votes counted.
Donald Trump’s efforts are to make it impossible for many eligible citizens to vote and/or to not count their votes.
To a Republican it may be the same thing.

Fair Fight is going after voter suppression tactics. The New Georgia project is registering new voters.
A part of her interview on NPR:
MARY LOUISE KELLY, HOST: I mentioned you have been super focused on getting people out to vote, getting first-timers registered. You founded the voter rights organization Fair Fight, which looks like it has registered more than 800,000 new voters in Georgia. That is a lot. Talk to me about the significance, how that changes an election.
ABRAMS: I want to be clear. So I created an organization about six years ago called the New Georgia Project. That has focused exclusively on voter registration. And New Georgia Project is part of a consortium of organizations that have been working hard to register voters of color and voters who are unlikely voters. We also have had easier voting processes made possible because of the Motor Voter Act being really fully implemented in the state of Georgia. And so 800,000 new voters are an incredible number, but the credit should be shared.

There’s a paywall for this. So many people are really in trouble with no jobs or prospect of jobs and now ZERO help from the Feds. This really is so depressing and landlords that aren’t getting paid are trying to evict people because they owe taxes, etc and aren’t collecting rent.
And, Rome is burning and the fiddling continues.
