I didn’t think the day could get any worse either.

Short update, as it is all I know. The mom giving birth late last night required a c-section for triplets. The vet was called in. One of the babies didn’t make it. At 1a eastern, mom goat was resting comfortably, daughter was in shock, babies hadn’t yet eaten, which was way behind the comfort zone.

It will be a long recovery here as well.

Unfortunately the world has done little about war crimes since Nuremberg. Is there a real appetite to do anything to Russia for its actions, other than appeasement so the world can go back to ignoring anything of importance?

Said it last night when this went down.

The Democrats must connect the GQP support for Putin during the midterms. The message must get out.

Did Putin give the GOP Trump’s isolationism to protect Russian warmongering from US interference?

Scary thought: Putin has already won more hearts and minds than we know.

Maybe so, but I have to wonder if this action will make folks understand he isn’t the good guy everyone said he was.

He’s been ingratiating himself to the GOP since the 80s. They won’t switch teams.

This is like the Sandy Hook slaughter. Prepare for a huge brain disconnection today. You will think Republican Fox News people are from another planet.

Thinks war in Europe is just grand.

Shortly before Russian President Vladimir Putin signaled the start of a military operation in Ukraine, former President Donald Trump continued to lavish praise on the leader.

Speaking at a political fundraiser held at his Mar-a-Lago country club in Palm Beach, Fla., Trump admired the Russian dictator’s strategic success.

“I mean, he’s taking over a country for $2 worth of sanctions,” Trump said. “I’d say that’s pretty smart. He’s taking over a country — literally a vast, vast location, a great piece of land with a lot of people, and just walking right in.”

Said it above:

Here same people watched hundreds of thousands of Americans die in the last two years from COVID, but strenuously believed that wearing a mask infringed on their personal freedom and liberty.

I have no illusions.

Oh, and it will all be Biden’s fault and impeachment is imminent.

If I believed in hell I’d be wishing that Putin and his GOP enablers were already there.
I cannot process the mental gymnastics it must take to call the Dems Communist while simultaneously worshipping Putin. So are Communists good or are they bad?
I can answer my own question. Racist Communist=good. Anti-racist Communist=bad.
Does not compute.

That bastard just can’t quit seeing everything through the lens of a sleazy real estate salesman, can he?

Everything is transactional - even a democratic nation of 40 million. It’s just a potential asset to him and his cronies.

Yes! Your COVID example is even better because it is sustained.

Got a FB post from Michael Moore asking how we would feel if Russia put troops on our border in Mexico.

Never been a big fan of him, but now, he has come down on the Quisling side of history. F*ck him.

Re: Michael Moore.
This is where the horseshoe theory of political science shows validity: that the extreme right and extreme left bend towards each other and are more similar that the moderates of either side.

The far right fears true democracy and wishes for more militaristic and expansionist foreign policy that benefits the powerful and wealthy. Of course they admire a guy like Putin.

The far left can’t pass up an opportunity to criticize past American faults, even if that means contrasting them negatively with the awful actions of our enemies and downplaying the significance of war crimes committed by others.

Both give Russian state television some great sound bites.
