Whoopsie-daisy.

But, yeah, “Garland isn’t doing anything…!!”

But it’s not Garland’s job to do this stuff. AG is a policy position. It’s USADC and Lisa Monaco’s job, and they seem to be doing just fine.

Remember, folks, they just got the contents of Rudy’s phones like 60 days ago.

Golly gee, I wonder whose identity they’re concealing in this passive voice sentence?

Huh, guess former federal informant Tarrio wasn’t informing this time. Or if he was, he got a little too cute about playing the feds for fools.

Well Benny Thompson can’t stop dropping all kinds of hints over the White House Visitor logs. If the committee is going to let him drop hints then there better be some good shit behind it!

about prosecuting higher up the food chain – office holders and officials.

Tarrio thought he was immune because Individual 1 would protect him. Individual 1 only worries about his own ass.
Also, there’s a weak link in Tarrio’s chain spilling the beans. I’m so surprised when you consider haw many dumb fucks make up that chain.

Those aren’t the people you prosecute first. Doing so would be absolutely stupid. This is a mob prosecution where prosecutors start with the lowest level folks, flip them, and go after the next level until they get the goods on the people at the top. That’s how this has always worked.

Definitely agree. Thanks for the nuance.

HARD DISAGREE.

But the “Why isn’t Garland doing anything?!?!” crowd doesn’t do nuance.

I look forward to the day when those who are being held accountable to the law have an epiphany that the person who incited them is not being held to account. That person is identified as “TFG” because many don’t even want to utter his name, but only to highlight “former,” which really means “loser.” “ETTD” will eventually apply to the support of his minions, and I hope the blowback to TFG is ugly.

They don’t do “thinking” either.

Tarrio himself was not near the Capitol on Jan. 6.

Tarrio may have the excuse of having been ordered by a court to stay away from DC on 1/6, but there’s certainly a pattern here of supposed “leaders” having stayed away from the action. Ex-president Bonespurs didn’t follow through on his promise to the mob to walk with them; Roger Stone got the hell out of town as quickly as he could; Stewart Rhodes watched from a distance.

They’re as bunch of chickenshits, as far as I’m concerned. They just let the dolts do the work for them, not that I’m excluding Trump from that category.
